Also in admin panel > chapters, there are columns for "Released on" AND "Created at". If the second is scanlation release date determined when the chapter is uploaded, wouldn't that means it's scanlation release date, and the "Released on" was meant to be the original book release date? When I entered 2017 there, I got the release not showing on the front page instead.

No, you're getting confused again. We have no method on the site of tracking a book's original native release date. This information is not of interest to us. Released on represents the scanlation date, this is a value you can edit when uploading a work. Created at represents the date it is uploaded to the Reader, this is automatically determined and cannot be edited by the uploader. These dates are often the same, and that is fine. They are also often different, that is also fine. Created at only exists for uploaders as a means of organisation, the average user will never be aware it exists on the site at all.

Suggestion1: Edit the text for "Released on" to be "Scan release date" or some such.

This is a possibility.

Suggestion2: Front page (and list of upload when browsing tags etc) to display books based on "Created at", and edit the text for "Released on" to be "Original release date" or some such, meant only for informing readers.

I'm afraid this is not likely to happen at any point in the future for a variety of reasons.

One of the existing tags has a wrong name. Kanade should be Kanae. orz
I kept using Kanade because that’s what the tag is right now, but the tag should be fixed at some point.

Before I start reading, is it complete as of ch.5, going to be completed, or still abandoned and these last few chapters just hadn’t been posted yet for some reason?

These chapters were released a couple months ago and are just now making their way here. According to the scanlator who graced us with this release, the translation will continue in due time. Look forward to it!

Suggestion: Make the front page display books based on scanlation upload release date.

The front page currently displays releases based on scanlation date, not book release date, nor upload (to Dynasty) date. The date you're referring to is meant to be left at default (the current date) unless uploading something that has an old scanlation, but for whatever reason never made it to Dynasty in the past. Theoretically, the division you mention is intentional. Does that clear it up or address your suggestion?

Hey, random question, but do you guys have any tips for sleeping earlier when you have developed a pattern for sleeping late?

In addition to what BugDevil said, I also think habits are good tools to change your behaviour. Breaking them is hard, but making them usually isn't (as long as they're easy). Before bed I usually get away from the PC for like an hour+, get some nice hot tea, chill with the pets and read or draw for a while. Then self care, then sleep. I find it much, much easier to sleep early when I have some set routine like this before sleeping. Dunno how realistic it'd be for you, though.

The view counts on the MangaDex releases left me a bit disheartened, and this series never makes "Most Popular in Last 7 Days" so I wanted to share some internal numbers of our own!

Virgin's Empire ranks second this month in Series Page views with just under ~32k, trailing Bloom Into You at ~59k, and leading 1 x ½ at ~26k.

Virgin's Empire has the second most views on its discussion thread this month with ~18k, trailing Bloom Into You at ~32k, and leading Handsome Girl and Sheltered Girl at around ~11k.

The average view count per chapter this month sits around 10,000 per, with chapter 148 leading the way at ~14,000 views, and chapter 145 trailing behind at just over 5,000 views.

I'm yet to figure out exactly why the view counts vary so much chapter-to-chapter, which is pretty interesting on its own. Anyway, just thought that might be worth sharing!

On a totally different note, I've thought for a long time this series could use its own pairing tags given the variety of couples. On the other hand, this could leave the series page feeling cluttered. Any thoughts?
