First off, before you request stuff to upload please keep in mind that these groups do not wish to be on here (this is also on the upload request form):

What has been implemented:

• Pairing tags - http://dynasty-scans.com/pairings and also visible on anthologies, series, and chapter pages. Should be cleaned up from future searches to reduce clutter.
• Stuff that begins with "The" will not be put under the T section.
• Finding other posts made by a user.
• Public reading list linking in forum profiles.
• Adding something from "To Read" to "Read" will remove it from the former.
• Uses AJAX to add items to Reading Lists. You will no longer lose your place when adding/removing mid read through a chapter.
• Spoiler marking in the forums. Use == directly before and after (no spaces) the spoiler phrase. An example may be found four posts below this one. Do note that empty line breaks in the middle of the spoiler will cause it to not function.
• Subscribed tag notifications with email and RSS. If you have a tag on your subscribed reading list, you will be notified when a chapter is uploaded with that tag.
• Total download limit per 24 hours to 8 per IP. This is an attempt to reduce bandwidth usage and to also drive people to the scanlator site. Yes this sucks for you, but reducing future risk to having a free server from GOD is totally better.
• Option to automatically add stuff on your notify to your "To Read" list. By default it's off.
• Option to make show all covers of series and whatnot in the directory. Clickable options in the upper-right when on the directory page.
• Search has been upgraded. Click the advanced button for more search filtering options (not seen in the navbar). Should also be able to search for multiple tags at once.
• Solo image integration. It's not going to be a booru, but more of a sharing repository of related images to the ships/series.

What is going to be implemented:

• Forum search.
• Improved read/unread status in reading lists on a per chapter basis (low priority).

What will not be implemented:

• Volume downloads - We're not aiming to be a download site. We currently already push 25 TB a month as it is. Downloads are also currently capped at a max of 3 downloads at once at 300 KB/s to help reduce bandwidth usage over time.
• Sort authors by surname first. Honestly, there are a lot of authors that are probably swapped to western and a lot the eastern way. It was hard to tell for me in the initial life of the reader and fuck if I knew which way was the "correct" way.
• Blacklisted tags will not effect what is shown when browsing general directory pages.
• Donations or ads.
• Ratings of any sort.
• Anything that's mangafox only or mangafox bred will not be uploaded.
• "Less of not yuri!" There's plenty of yuri and our uploaders are constantly keeping on a lookout for more. I do keep a lookout to see if not-yuri is overtaking yuri in any way (I even make charts with it!).

Suggestions Currently on the Table

• Consolidation of recently uploaded series chapters into a single segment (toggleable?) to prevent other recently uploaded chapters from getting shoved out of view.

Yeah those tags are currently not used to their literal definition. No plans to make it that literal.

That said, i really do need to get the current version. Hopefully the graphical bugs on Katamari got worked out since I last tried it.

When I played Katamari on it I don't remember any graphical glitches. Although they might've been minor and I ignored them.

No idea how this will look since everything else is white, but I wanted to base it off of their favicon:

Just there for the hell of it.

It's been several months since the update to the reader and server change. Probably best see if the problems I've been recently having is related to my move to wifi or a bigger impact on performance from users than anticipated.

Please keep in mind that we have a suggest a (change to a) tag feature right next to the discussion button when you're browsing a chapter/series.

Mangaupdates is hardly evil compared with mangafox and batoto, since they host nothing and only link back to the scanlators. Of course that's also it's biggest negative for many as it's a tab opening spree if you read a lot of series from various groups, which is why people still go to the grab everything (without permission) online readers since it's the most convenient.
Still doesn't mean I don't get to hate on the sites and the people though, hate all the things.

Hey folks, my apologies if this was posted already, but has there been any discussion of a Multi-Tag search function? Not exactly a necessity, but it would be nice given the ever expanding library of Dynasty Reader.

The page works fine on my android phone. If the problem persists, can you try clearing your phone browser's cache? If that still doesn't work try downloading a different browser and see if it persists there.

Hi. Thanks for all the effort on this site.
It would be great if in searching manga titles and we are shown cover image and the title, a COMPLETED sign woulf also be distinguished with the photo.
As well as volume/chapter download icon on the volume/chapter list, instead of entering the chapter to download it.

Thumbnails in more places has been on omn's large plate of stuff to handle for some time, but it's not a priority for now.
Having a large completed sign on the thumbnail itself seems a bit counterproductive in its attempt at garnering interest by showing a saucy preview thumbnail. If one wanted to find completed works they would search for ones with the completed tag.

Took a number of personal shortcuts to squeezing this one out before the self-imposed deadline (EST!).
Mich decided to ignore his own non-promises.
Keep in mind that if you somehow haven't noticed, there is a "resize button" in the upper-right corner when you're reading a chapter. By default, it's set to auto-resize (arrows pointing in) if it's too large (scaling algorithm determined by browser), but if you have it set so that the arrows are pointing out then the pages will always be shown full size.

Since I'm not releasing as often, I don't actually get to say this as much anymore which is a bit depressing.
Nevertheless, fuck off mangafox with your shitty fucking shit.
Everyone who keeps posting mangafox links on this forum can also go suck a lemon.
Don't think I like batoto either; they're only slightly more tolerable compared with mangafucks due to their non-resized presentation, but still built around the idea of being ass.

With that out of the way, there's one chapter and a short (shown in sayuri hime a while ago) left.
As well as a murderous, guttered double pager that I'm going to attempt to complete when I get to it (or just poke Kalevala for a rescan).
