The "cold beauty" or "work master" that is actually a "closet otaku" is one of the worst plot devices I've seen so far and on recent times

I think you mean best. Easy mistake to make, I know.

This most certainly should be tagged with something like dick move or sexual harassment/groping/molestation.

It is.

Technically speaking, 100k yen a day falls under US federal minimum wage if the day in question lasts longer than 12 hours, and since I assume she's going to be there every day off from office work and post-office work hours, she'd better make sure she keeps that office job if she wants to be able to maintain the spoiling of her newly acquired "little sister."

I feel like there's a chance for drama here. Meguru's clearly projecting someone onto Kasane, so I'm sure it'll cause some drama in the future. Maybe if that someone comes back?

Lemme get my prediction in now. Meguru had a crush on her actual older sister, but since her family is currently out of the picture (for reasons that may have caused the sitting out in the rain scene) she's lonely and wants to replace said sister. Who I'm sure will come back and be the primary cause of drama.

Anyways. This does fall back into my usual ideal of "Boy howdy do I love awful girls and women" trope. Which is great. If she gets better about it, that's fine, if she doesn't even better.

Y'know. Be gay, do crimes and all.

Well, not everyone reading the stuff on the site is an adult with a fully developed brain, a veteran forum member, or a literature major. I think this means that the forum can't be a place where only "mature" discussion occurs, and that it isn't 100% pointless to point out bad behavior. As far as I know, it isn't against forum rules either, unless the objectionable element is already tagged, and thus can be avoided easily.

Considering the site hosts actual pornography, I'd like to hope that they were adults.

If they need to have bad behavior pointed out to them like they're a toddler I think they should probably not be on the internet at all.

If anything, I think everyone complaining about the ending is serving its purpose. It's done to get some kind of emotion out of you, and it's generating plenty of "discussion" regarding the manga. Sorta like how no publicity is bad publicity.

Wish some of y'all would cut the shit where you make some implied accusations that the mangaka endorses the action simply by having it as part of the story though.

Oh, this has promise. I thought it was going to be a typical crush on the straight girl manga, but that ending is a great way to sink the hooks in. I'll be looking forward to more of it.

This is some nice development, I warms my heart a bit.

Over the past couple days I just went back and reread the whole thing and man it still hits me right in the heart.

Of course, now the problem is my eyes are red so I need to wash my face before I go out.

This chapter gives us some great service in terms of their relationship, but most importantly it gives us at least one great face.

fantastic

I'm not entirely sure what sparked this sudden influx of vampire yuri, but I'm not complaining.

I think this is a case of a bunch of people trying to make sense out of the nonsensical. In the end it does not matter, the girl gets the girl and we were just along for a wild ride on the way to the outcome

I do not doubt that Kashiwai loves her fiance, but the way she feels about Tsuzuki is something more intense, something she's not entirely familiar with. It is not a feeling exclusive to her love for her fiance, but she's been raised in a society that doesn't understand Tsuzuki's relationships so in her heart it might as well be. This, and knowing Tsuzuki's relationships probably feels like a twisting knife, but it still feels like something new and exciting.

Likewise I do not doubt that Tsuzuki loves Fukunaga and Hiroki, but she sees something in Kashiwai too. Unlike Kashiwai though, her heart stirring for another is not so disruptive, it's just the way her love works. She doesn't need to stop and think about her current relationships as she pursues something with Kashiwai - her love is not so restrained. It is merely something that she eagerly goes along with.

She does look fantastic in the dress though. A+ taste, Fukunaga. And is it just me, or from the side does the dress really make her look stacked? Like damn girl.

Tagging system aside, I feel like it's a great set up. A nice alternative to the bait and switch where you start with a positive and end with a negative, starting with a negative and ending up with a positive instead. For the characters, it helps Tsuzuki sink the metaphorical hook into Kashiwai, while for the reader, anyone who isn't dissuaded by the barbs might get pulled in just to see where the ride can go next.

If I were to write a polyam story I prolly would do my damndest to not really... conflate cheating and polyamory in any way, because god knows people do that enough. People are prolly doing that earlier in this darn comments section, I dunno I haven't read past this page. I mean, it's a good conversation to have. There's a lot of people who cheat and claim to be polyam in order to try and weasel out of it, which is NOT polyam, and conversations on how shitty that is is good, but most works kinda stop at explaining how that's bad for polyam people lol. Though I'm glad that's not how this is going, the couples here seem good.

.....I am actually VERY nervous about how the bride planner's fiance is gonna turn out in all this though. I don't really expect him to take his wife potentially joining this polycule very well.

Honestly, by the first chapter and most of the second, I think that conflation people make was part of the point, which makes the end of chapter 2 and this chapter interesting because it feels like they might be working to deal with said association. I've got my fingers crossed for good, however... I'm just as interested in drama because of something bad happening too. It's a curse, really.

I think that's going to be the major point of contention here. How is her fiance going to react? Is she going to tell him? Is she going to act on a feeling?

I'm still wondering about how she really feels about her fiance in general, since the first chapter does harp on the idea that she might not be as interested in their marriage as one might expect.

Y'know what, I'll bite.

Don't write it like that cause you will get haunted by Akiyama Haru fanboys.
Honesly they give this author too much credit while in reality it's nothing special.

Then why are you still here?

I'm not really interested in guys take in this story cause why should be?
I don't read yuri works to get male viewpoint presented in them, so maybe if people want it here means it's not a yuri work after all?
Cuse yuri works should be only presentd from female viewpoint in my opinion.

What an ignorant opinion. However, you might have better luck finding stories you enjoy with the tag "404: Men Not Found"

Akiyama Haru is just another author who can't create a proper adult story without making females the awful beings in it, nothing new it's rare to find adult yuri story where females aren't fuckin guys on the side and where authors truly try to present adult lesbian life in Japan than just checking off their own personal fetishes with it like it seems to be happening with the absurd poly stuff in this work.

There are three things here. Four if you count how weird I find it when guys say "FEMALES" instead of something that someone better adjusted would say, like "women" or something.

First, there are plenty of adult life yuri stories that don't involve cheating or polyamory. You'll find that the ones involving either of those are actually a rather small minority.

Second, what's even the point of being an author if you don't get to write about what you want to write about? If you don't get to indulge in your own desires and fetishes? A good author writes first and foremost for themselves, if the audience likes what they write that's a bonus.

Third and last, not every story has to be a realistic story about things that happen in the real world, sometimes it's great to let fiction be fiction.

The absurd drama Yukino cheating did in Octave story where she thought that her gf wanted her to cheat reasoning given and we get another retarded thing here which has zero chance of happening in real life either way.

You might need to expand your world view. This isn't asking for pigs to fly or anything, this is a situation that's entirely within the realm of realistic possibility. Just because it doesn't or won't happen to you doesn't mean it has "zero chance of happening in real life either way."

My earlier comments regarding how much I'd love it if Tsuzuki was an awful woman because I love awful women aside, this development subverting those expectations is positively delicious. It's exquisite. I'm not entirely sure what's going to happen next and that's exciting.

That said, I do wish we could add a new tag, at least to chapter one. Like a "Cheating?" tag, because on the surface that's the impression I feel like we're supposed to get. I feel like changing the tag to polyamory right away takes out some of the surprise regarding the development.

The thing is while some people prefer to avoid the "Cheating" tag, some others, like me, really love going into that tag. So tagging the first chapter as such would be misleading to some.

It's a tough choice to make. The way the first chapter is laid out, it's supposed to be misleading. Which is fantastic. It's a shame it's hard to get the idea across with tags, though.

What a nifty little twist, even if it's a lie. I feel like it isn't, if only because she's being this open about it. There's no gain for her if it is a lie, since it'd be something they could bring up with Hiroki as if it were some kind of casual talk.

I might be more skeptical if it were just an aside between Tsuzuki and Kashiwai, but Awa-kun is also there. So I'm letting my guard down a little about it.

I'll be satisfied no matter the result, I'm sure.

you know, I've read plenty of lame, braindead oneshot and series as long as they contain yuri, but this might just be the most braindead of them all.

Ignoring the fact that this just disregards everything about time travel logic, the series is plain dumb from the characterization. Seriously this girl went back in time and date a minor and people don't mind it? Honestly it's weird and dumb as hell.
I doubt anyone who's adult in here would feel the slightest romantic feeling for their middle school/high school crush if they went back in time in adult form.

Also the chapter which she revealed she's from the future is legit the dumbest thing I've ever seen and read. The reactions aren't even realistic!

And while I don't want to talk about this because it's clear that the logic of the story is in the negative, but how on earth did she adapt to living in the past? Did she sleep at the school, what about eating, bathing, etc? Also did people not find her identity card odd, considering that it's been 10 years and it's changed considerably since then?

The only good point for this series is the "ecchi" scenes tbh. It's art ain't even great though. Honestly the only reason people still like and tolerate this incredibly stupid story is the yuri. Imagine if the MC was a boy, yikes, this would go up in flame within the first chapter.

Also why the hell does this have a 8.48 point in Mangadex???

some people enjoy stuff you do not enjoy. it's not that deep bro

Once more, you are free to blacklist the "cheating" tag if you're so worried about it sullying your view of your "pure, peaceful yuri"

At the top right, click your name and click Manage Profile, then scroll down slightly. You'll see a box to input blacklisted tags. I don't use it much myself but I assume that you simply input the tag, followed by a comma if you wish to add more tags (which you should. Curate your experience and don't expect it to be curated for you).

Can't say I'm too wildly interested in this one so far. Both female leads feel like they're gonna end up kinda shitty people to me, or they're going to try and "justify" it by making their boyfriends shitty despite their initially pleasant demeanors. I'll keep an eye on it but I don't want this to turn into a guy hate fest just for "the yuri".

I mean, so far it seems plainly clear that the ones who are in the wrong are the girls. Mizuki just seems like she might've leaped into marriage a little soon and doesn't actually love her fiance as much as she thought, whereas Tsuzuki, well. So far she's the source of the cheating tag in the first place.

So, your initial assumption might be right. Both female leads might end up being shitty people. In fact, I hope so. I gobble that shit up.
