The toy Sae bought for Nora. Why would we be taking about the plant? Sae got her a toy fox tail, which seems to be some fake fur made to look like a tiny fox tail, not the actual plant.

She probably just chewed on it, but more importantly, foxtails can be dangerous for animals, so don't give one to an actual cat anyway.

I don't dont know if I'm interpreting this the wrong way, but the vibe I got is that the light haired girl likes the black haired one (forgot their names) but the black haired one dosent know it, and strictly does it for business. Im thinking about like those two girls from Lily Marble, Hikari and Moe, if anyone has read that, where there playing a gay couple but one of them is actually in love.

Did Chibi get a gender swap? I always thought it was a guy, and I could've sworn they used male pronouns before this chapter. Was it a translation error or something the author did. Also, I am positively in love with this series and want more, is the translation all up to date, or can I buy more?

I think they actually are not a couple and are faking it for a possible popularity boost? I was fairly confused myself.

One of them is starting to feel guilty about using the aesthetics of a gay relationship for cheap marketing to nerds. Knowing an actual couple is probably making the whole act feel scummy. That's just my read of it. Things are still pretty ambiguous right now.

I also think that the alpaca girl actually likes the black haired one? And thats part of why she feels guilty?

I really love this series, but rereading it, I noticed something was kind of off about Saki-Chan, not her personality, but the way she looks. Surprisingly not, actually. I could be wrong, but the upload date for chapter 1 of the manga is 2014, and the first episode of the Anime was 2015. Which would mean the studio added the darker themes, and took most of the metaphors literaly. I'm not quite sure how anime adaptions happen though so I could be wrong.

I must say, this story is so American it's pretty incredible a Japanese mangaka can depict it so powerfully. Haven't seen anything like that since Stone Ocean...

I'll be honest it comes off as more British to me. Lot of coal-mining there in the post-war period, and they'd be more likely to call Russia "easterners" than Americans would.
