Still not spring though.

I recently watched a Korean movie called Oldboy. I won't spoil it, but I will say people acting like animals makes me really uncomfortable now, and that includes chapter 12 of this manga.

It's actually based off of a manga that was published in the same magazine as Kobayashi-san chi no maidragon. Themoreyouknow

Anyways, I love getting Hino's perspective. A stoic character can become boring very quickly, so showing that she is actually human is great.

I love these chapters showing the start of the relationship. Them just living out their daily lives is cute and all but getting to see their bond grow stronger to become what it is today is really nice (especially on Mari's end since she had already gone through that development when the manga started).

Good to see this, we had been on a muscle drought as of late.

I for one appreciate the lizard tag getting the use it deserves.

What was that about "20 years later" and "you both have long lifespan"

Well, considering that many of the monster girls of prison town were a mix of human with animals that have a much shorter lifespan (cats, dogs, lizards, etc.), I would simply asume that their own lifespans are somewhere in the middle and therefore considerably less than ours.

Glad that the professor didn't hold any grudges. Mari really deserved prison, what she did was not cool.

I mean, I thought that at first too but it's not as if she actually killed them, she jut had to plug them back up and they were just fine. If anything, sending Mari to prison and just leaving the Prof and shuri laying there was pretty terrible idea and could have potentially ended with them dying for real.
Obviously, harming people out of jealousy is a horrible thing to do, but the way it was presented made it seem even worse than it actually was.

I really don't think Either of these qualify as lolis. Splatoon's art style is very cartoony so their proportions in official art aren't that of a normal adults but i don't think they look like children, especially on most fan depictions.
