Well, that was a fun start. Clearly they're both idiots, though. :D

edit: I guess the real question here is how long this situation can be stretched out without becoming overdone (or getting axed over that), and how much the story can go on after that. Thinking about it some more, the basic situation here is actually very similar to Yagate Kimi ni Naru, if with a more comedy bent to it. Two girls who never expected to fall in love. One falling and showering the other with her affections. And eventually hopefully the other realizing her own feelings too. While providing us with some idiot couple shenanigans in the meantime, except this time with more humor and less self-loathing problems. It only remains to be seen how well this author can pull it off, and considering how good their previous series was aside from maybe going for one misunderstanding too many and a rather quick ending that may or may not been a result of that, the hopes are rather high as the elements that kept stalling that one are not present here, quite the opposite.

I mean, after seeing the discussion in the images thread I can to an extent understand why someone may have a problem with the image you posted here, even if it's mostly the artist poking fun at history as usual, albeit at some darker parts of it this time. But I remember very well the "n-word pass joke" as you call it and that one was very clearly making it a point to show it was wrong of the character to (almost) say it.
