It's not actually a sequel though, it's a rewrite. The characters are (kind of) the same but it's not a continuation of Joshiyu.

I think I actually really like this kind of exaggerated art style with this kind of exaggerated smutty story.

There doesn't seem to be any rule saying that robots without owners cannot remain free, nor does there seem to be anyone tasked with rounding them up, so that's a nice point of divergence from other stories like this.

Yes, "rezu" is obviously from the katakana reading of "lez", but it's an entrenched term in Japanese nerd culture. "Lez" also has an offensive angle to it in English that "rezu" does not for a Japanese lesbian.

All of the chapters have that [END] tag. From chapter 1 I was a little weirded out by how (what I thought was) a one-shot had ended, but per previous posts, there's 6 chapters plus an extra in all.

Ear cleaning is a very specifically Japanese thing because the racially Japanese (Yamato) people's genome usually contains the recessive gene for dry, dusty earwax. If you've never heard of this before, it's because the gene is mostly only carried by far-east Asians and Native Americans (south-east Asians are about 50/50). And because the gene is recessive, anyone born to a parent with the usual wet and sticky earwax will also have that earwax type.

As a double-whammy, the same gene is responsible for underarm odor. It can be very difficult to find deodorant on sale in Japan because most Japanese people simply don't need it.

I like that high school Miwa is exactly the sort of useless lesbian that would be at home in any other high school yuri romcom.

Despite probably being only minor characters in a yuri story, I enjoyed reading the dynamic between the two dads, and enjoyed even more when Anne-Sophia threw a wrench into things.

It seemed like it was a very literal translation too; a lot of the dialogue felt extremely formal and verbose.

I don't really mind this development because to the two of them, their relationship before was based on using/tricking each other. A slow burn friendship where they continue to build trust before becoming lovers suits me fine.
