That was a lovely chapter. I want more Nana and actual relationship progression, but that was worth the pages. This is a slice of life thus far, and them hanging out definitely belongs there. Hell, they spent the whole time talking about how much of a lesbian she is, too lol. I'll take it.

Also I absolutely love how concrete the MCs sexuality is. I think it feels especially notable because back at the beginning it sounded like a set-up for a wishy washy "She prefers to drink women's blood" as a metaphor but then Rin flatly stating that she's explicitly gay, and I fucking love how her response to it was basically just "Y'know that makes sense." Like, no real angst or denial. And now that we're actually seeing her interact with men she has become very vocal about how unambiguously gay she is. Lol

Heh, looking at that last panel this may be Juri's first girlfriend, but she clearly understands how to lesbian it up already. She's got that unhealthy attachment and life planning thing going on already. Which is kinda delightful.

And that whole thing seems really clingy more than charming, so I doubt it's an act she put on for men.

Also, people act like there's ambiguity but I feel like the author tried to send a very clear flag with the whole "She's no longer desired" thing seemingly being something she was positive towards. It's supposed to show how against her nature it is, and that she has the intent for this to be a real thing. And I'm happy to imagine happily ever after instead of a more realistic cynicism.

They went off and gayed it up forever, and hey they managed to even dodge there being actual cheating which was nice.

The angst tag is because she's being super melodramatic and... Well, angsty about the situations. Seems intuitive to me. It is some hardcore angst she has going on. Doesn't mean it's gotta end badly.

For one thing, the 'straight' girl just slept with a woman without us seeing the mental gymnastics she would have to go through to allow herself to love another woman. If a lesbian kissed a girl who's only liked guys before, she probably wouldn't just suddenly throw her identity out the window without some serious thought.
