The writing on Kyubey here is spot on. Never quite lying, but never quite telling the truth either. I need more wingman Kyubey

This has always been a problem with Mira stories for me. She writes a lot of characters that clearly aren't ready for sex, and need to approach it slower. That could make for some interesting stories on how to work around that, but she never does, and it always comes across as uncomfortable.

I guess if you don't mind something morbid like this it's fine, but this hit way too close to home for me.

Bullies getting what they deserve is fucked up because?

Because any kind of retaliation to bullying proves that the bullies got to you, which is only going to incur more, if not from this girl than from someone else. Not only that, but violence tends to lose you any sympathy with authority figures.

This ending is the exact WRONG thing to do against bullying. Not to mention the characters suddenly snap and pull a 180. I really hate seeing a story like this promoting shit like this

From what I read of Watamote (and this was a while ago) it's Bojack Horseman levels of depressing. The main character iirc is fine with being bisexual as a way to try and find anyone to care about her.

This feels like the first time we ever got something "new" from this sequel series. The last two chapters were flashbacks, but this one is moving forward with new ideas, scenarios and conflicts.

I'm excited to see more!

Now I want to see a series with two grown up tomboys in a relationship where it looks like yaoi, both of them think they're straight, and it's yuri the whole time.

^gonna have to disagree with you on that one. The fight between Nanoha and Fate in the movie is some of the best animation I've seen in my life, and by far my favorite moment from the show.

I would like to point out that in response to this new character, I had a reaction of "oh! Someone new. This will shake things up a bit" as opposed to Citrus, where every new character is greeted with "ugh, here comes another pointless annoying arc"

Even if it ends up bad, 1x1/2 will still look miles better by comparison.

Hoooooo boy. Another "obstacle" character to get in the way and cause conflict. We were doing so well for a while.

It really bothers me when THAT is the majority of conflict when Yuzu and Mei are flawed enough to have plenty of drama between the two of them.
