It's Kinuko. 絹子 read きぬこ.

Either black haired girl found the arranged marriage file, that belonged to her girlfriend and thus commited suicide.

The paneling implies Kuniko was struggling over whether to tell Mihoko something related to the miai stuff and the conflict from pressure to marry would explain her suicide. Why would you come up with a more complicated version of events, where the miai stuff was Mihoko's, when there's nothing to imply it over the simpler version that fits everything the mangaka gave the audience?

I think its a super natural thing. It looks like this girl moved in some time after this thing happend. (old tv, new tv ) Mihoko wouldnt keep living in the same apartment where her girlfriend commited suicide so she moved out and the new girl moved in some time later. So this apartment is haunted?

The dreamer doesn't live where Mihoko and Kuniko lived. You might have misinterpreted the last panel of the dream before she wakes up as an establishing shot.

she also says "why does your face seem so nostalgic to me?" could be amnesia

If amnesia were supposed to remain plausible then it would also show you that she had aged accordingly. And her not being "Mihoko" would be a really bad writing idea in terms of getting the point across.

As a one-shot it's probably a try this out will readers demand more? thing. It doesn't hold up as an entirely stand-alone story.

It does hold up as a one-shot (if people paid attention) and It's very unlikely it's a pilot, especially in Galette.

The dreamer is implied to be living in the modern era and too young to be Mihoko.

I wouldn't fault the fan translator for adding the flourish, but the professional didn't flatten something that was in the Japanese.

And there's plenty of room for the professional translation to be better where the fan translator has made mistakes.

Kinda erotic, but the censorship... why? At this point, it's useless.

Reducing the risk of being taken to court for violating article 175 of Japan's Penal Code and potentially handed a prison sentence has some utility.

Right, we’ve known that all along. But to outsiders, especially people like Kaede’s classmates, who would be acutely aware of how they speak to each other as opposed to people Mimika’s age, it would seem quite weird. And they wouldn’t be wrong.

It's supposed to seem weird and funny to the readers too.

What is rather creepy (although we’ve been conditioned to ignore it, or to think of it as cute) is Mimika still calling her little love-bunny “Yuzumori-san,” who in turn refers to her as “Mimika”—at least I can see how that would seem creepy to Kaede’s classmates.

It’s not quite the same as “Mistress” and “my little kitten,” but you don’t have to change trains to get from here to there.

It's one part of Mimika using keigo to speak to Yuzumori. Which is a fairly important part of the manga's schtick, coloring all the interaction between them.

The ending's pretty good.

There's some things in it that feel like it got things done very quickly where there would have been opportunity for doing more with certain developments and also it went quickly from one dramatic situation being resolved to immediately throwing up a even more important crisis point (usually manga like that would want to go back to lighter love comedy material for a while between), but even if it's one of the many cases where a manga had to rush to wrap up its plot, it did manage it in a fitting way.

This was an opinion on the writing. I don't believe reading it could spoil the story.

I'm sorry if I'm asking something dumb, but when something like this happens and they can't find for sometime a new place to publish the authors are allowed to, if they want, publish a continuation in their own site (charging or for free)? (sorry if I misspelled or made some mistakes)

There are cases where a mangaka has tried to continue a series as doujinshi. Blood Alone is an example. It's not very practical though.

Anyway, Knight Tale will be restarting on Cycomics.

It's been foreshadowing since early on that Ayafuji is a reincarnation. At the very least it can end with the implication they'll be reunited through reincarnation again. More likely there's probably some way out of the situation such as breaking a curse with the help of past life memories.

Hanjuku such-and-such is a little bit of a titling cliche.

There is a connection that could be made between half-ripened and rotten, so Hanjuku Joshi could have been a good title for a manga about a fujoshi coming of age or something like that, but my sense is that it's not what's behind the naming of this manga.

The mangaka writes in synopses and such that they're actual mother and daughter, including phrasing it as a warning to people who want to avoid such content. That's not something you'd do if you were going to reveal that they're not.

What she said in Japanese was basically "Dad" (otou-san) but with kanji to indicate that what she meant by that was her father-in-law. The kanji can also mean stepfather, but that's a wrong interpretation.

No, it does not trigger people with a good attitude who feel secure in themselves. If the criticism has some basis then you need to be able to identify the problem without needing it pointed out to you and find your own solutions, otherwise you'd not be able to improve, and you'd be stuck relying on someone else to help you do the task you've taken on.
