It might not be DRAMATIC and all, but there's generally a certain feeling to her work, the narration is a bit heavy at times, even if it's not straight up drama

Was it showing that they were traveling together at the end?

Am I a bad person if I was happy that the step-mother got what was coming to her? It would have been ideal if she had died because she was an AWFUL FUCKING PERSON.

Minutoh: I believe that the gut punch is harder , the ending more uncertain unspoiled and the happy ending more rewarding, so people uncovering it should really be sure about doing it.

Redundant maybe, but if even one goes in unspoiled, I think it's worth it.

I've of the opinion that if it's a good/happy ending, I'll enjoy the journey that much more because I have something to look forward to.

Highway Blossoms (I don't know why it's spoiler tagged but, well, I guess I'll follow suit) is, by far, the best commercial yuri VN I've ever read... and, really, the only one I've read. I'm poor, okay?? I read pretty much every free yuri VN out there, and while I love Ebi-hime's and Nomnomnami's works in particular, it's impossible to deny that this VN has muuuuch higher production values... probably cause this is a $10 VN and their stuff is $0. It really adds to the experience. Of course, just cause a VN looks pretty doesn't mean it's well-written, but... well, this is pretty and well-written. The dialogue is so witty and great and Amber and Marina's relationship is SO CUTE AND GREAT. I have to admit, the first half was kind of boring me a bit, but it was necessary to really build up their relationship and all to make the second half more impactful... Well, that's my crappy opinion anyway. I'd definitely recommend it.

I'm actually giving it a go now. Yeah, it's pretty slow right now, but it's good to know it will pick up.

iirc, wasnt it actually showing them at the same age? As in, all sisters are at diff ages, but each of their chapters focused on a specific time in their high school years. It's pretty neat when you notice it

Clover - Chapter 2 and the follow-up Clover Extra - Happy Days fit the bill nicely.

Not too much angst/drama, but very enjoyable.

Hmmm, if anyone is interested: Pulse (chapter 22) by Ratana Satis has an ending to this.

I dunno why it bothered me, maybe because she didn't spent all of her thirties with the person she wanted. Whatever, i still loved the ending. I think this, Steps and Pure Water Adolescence are the best Student x teacher stories in this site.

Yeah I got that same comment from someone else too, how they enjoyed the fluffier parts more and dreaded the sudden angst tying up the end. I liked the first parts too, tho I appreciate the them tackling their one very important issue in the end, even if it* was very heavy. Like, the ending felt "earned".

I don't think I read the chapter where she graduated highschool. I just remember at the end she went back to live with her awful mother and then it shows her older with all these people who turn how to be Minato's family. (which I assume she lived with while in college?)

She left to live with the mom and did high school.
After high school, she came back to visit Minato (seeing her again after those few years). And then went and did uni, graduated, visited her dad I think? Tho I don't remember, but he gave her the wooden sign thing that looks like a family family? Idk if she lived with that family, I'm not sure where her university was tbh, I just assumed she lived in a dorm or something O-o
And then went back to Hoshikawa to find Minato and finally reunited with her. They were separated/didn't love together ever since her mom wanted her back.

That was kinding a weird story arc tbh, and nothing really came of it either, but her getting caught with her feelings was kinda stressful imo

I'd like to recommend these:

Linkage - This is an anthology, so even if its not completed, most of the chapters are one-shots.
To Where The Rail Goes - I won't spoil this one-shot, but this exactly what you're looking for.
Dandelion Among Lilies - Pretty good series about a couple living with the sister of one of the girls.
Not For Sale - This might not be for everyone, but don't let the tags fool you. This one its quite cute.
One Who Depicts Love - Cute story about a girl writing a romance novel about the life of a delinquent.
Kuroyome - This might have been suggested already, so, sorry for putting it again.
Sayonara Folklore - Not that dramatic, but it still what you're looking for.
A Girl In Ultramarine - It can be considered open-end, but i think the ending its quite conclusive.
Hoshikawa Ginza District 4 - Probably has been recommended as well, so, sorry again.
Indigo Mermaids - If you don't mind extremely lewd stories, this one is quite dramatic.

I loved Hoshikawa Ginza District 4, but the ending was quite confusing in my opinion with the time skips it did.

Got to be the best / biggest with way too much angst but great ending series:)

Actually I'm a fast reader and I'm only reading the ones that are complete. If they aren't, I put them on my list.

Just read this one today, and I think it definitely fits the bill. Gets VERRRY angsty in the middle bits, but ends on a high note. (Kind of a spoiler, really, but you asked.)

It definitely was very open-ended. I don't usually dislike stories with open-ends but this story feels like it could have a clear het ending and would've still been a good yuri story. But since its not clear at all, i hate stories that makes you wonder if the girl gets a happy end or not.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for happy endings or complete endings. I've been burned by too many bad/bittersweet endings that come out of no where. If I don't get that at least for the main characters, I feel like I've wasted my time.

I just wanted some drama and angsts with a happy ending where the main couple actually gets together. Didn't think someone would try and troll me. XD
