I'm just hyped for Final Fantasy 15. Looks good.

I have not looked into any FF15 news since we've had the demo a while back. I just don't want anything spoiled, hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised and not disappointed in the final product.

The original was 1960, and starred some of the big action film stars of the day. It was basically a western remake of the even older Kurosawa film Seven Samurai, made in 1954.

Seven Samurai is legit awesome and you can see elements that eventually resurfaced in films like Star Wars in it.

A work depicting rape isn't equals to the author SUPPORTING rape.
One of the Millennium triology's (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Girl Who Played with Fire, Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest) main themes was violence against women, but it wasn't supporting it or portraying it for the "lolz". Stieg Larsson was about denouncing it, showing how society turns a blind eye to it.

Depicting violence isn't supporting violence. You suggested Murcielago in the "Webcomics" thread. People get brutally murdered there. By your logic, Yoshimura Kana supports murder, kidnapping and killing young girls, impaling ppl with umbrellas, rape, disembodiments, cults, wtv.

I suggested Murcielago becuz it do show violence but clearly doesn't support it.

unlike Mare which shows girls enjoying while getting rape by their own father and tentacles monsters.

Also affects the security of your computer, even if you're careful. The last piece of malware I got was back in 2011 before I started using an ad blocker. It came from Google Ads on a trusted site and on top of that was somehow missed by both my antivirus and Malwarebytes until it was way too late. (My antivirus somehow never caught it and Malwarebytes missed it twice before finally picking it up.)

I do use it too. I know its good to avoid anti virus and ahem other ads too. But turn it off for site who request me to turn it off when ads are their primary income.

Here's a helpful tip of the day: Adblock is your friend, especially the element helper which can help erase things from existence on your browser.

If you are going to it for yuri romace only, you might be diappointed. Not saying it doesn't have yuri but most of it is subtext or quite limited.

Its more of a adventure manga rather than yuri.

Like 90% adventure and 10% yuri.
