Just take it one chapter at a time. Trust me, it'll be more than worth it in the end.

Its a rarity to see an accepting parent in a yuri manga, its even rarer to see a supporting one who tries to get their gay daughter a date.

Not only that, I think Mr. Honami actually has a clearer idea what’s happening than said gay daughter.

Coming out of the closet should be an interesting experience.

No, it's definitely there.

Tomoko's heterosexuality has been in question since the beginning of the manga. But about 2/3 of the way through the series the yuri subtext ramps up dramatically. There's also a full-on lesbian crush, though thus far it's unrequited.

From what I read of Watamote (and this was a while ago) it's Bojack Horseman levels of depressing. The main character iirc is fine with being bisexual as a way to try and find anyone to care about her.

This is true for the first few volumes, but Tomoko has mellowed out a great deal since then. Her current "harem" wasn't borne of desperation or attention seeking. She genuinely started to make some friends and things just snowballed from there.

The dinner date at the apartment seemed like Liz trying to get Honjou to know her outside of her stage life.

I'm guessing Liz interpreted the music-themed gift as Honjou only liking her as a performer, and not being interested in getting to know the "real" Liz.

Another part is that libraries don't alter the content of the books they lend out. Scanlation involves altering the work to some degree (both in text and visuals).

An author has to trust a publisher and come to a contractual agreement when licensing translation of their work. A bunch of random people on the internet up and doing it without any consent from or contact with the author is pretty damn sketchy.

Bakkin doesn't have any upload delay. If a chapter isn't on Dynasty buy available elsewhere, it means nobody has made the upload request OR the request has been made but has not yet been processed.

From Konatsu's perspective it's easy to see them as just friends.

But every little interaction on Honami's side is so emotionally charged it's hard to see it as anything but a lesbian crushing on her classmate. We're way past "she just isn't used to affection/intimacy".
