Yeah love triangles are a pain it's been several chapters now where nothing happens at all.

Exactly, most of the time they're just a stalling tactic that ultimately contributes nothing interesting and just leaves us with either a sad sympathetic side character or a vanquished mildly annoying villain.

And I do like Izumi for the most part. Watching this amount to nothing is pretty boring though. I don't know what else to say. I guess If I somehow had the feeling she had a snowball's chance in hell of ending up with which ever girl she's interested in?

Edit: Well. I shouldn't call it "nothing" but still. Not interesting. A drag on the story that plays out the same way.

Edit: again. Sorry. Didn't mean to bitch about love triangles anymore. Gonna research good possible uses for them when I get a chance.

I think the big change we saw in Shima comes from a bit of introspection after the trip to Nagoya with Tarumi, and then just the hilariousness of her "date" with Adachi following almost exactly the same pattern. Two trips to Nagoya and having to run for the train? Check. Overcrowded with only one seat in the corner? Check. Same chocolate store? Check. It was like her trip with Tarumi was simply an ironic practice run...

I wanted to say something to this effect as well. but sadly I'm not talented enough with the words yo.

Other thoughts.

Like the sketches from the anime someone shared. Would have liked them to keep the height difference in this story but I'm sure it will be fine.

also from the author, if I remember correctly. They played Neir? heh. I played Automata but watched the entire play-through for the 360 one. Interesting game.

If praying like Adachi does work, I'm doing that to get my main in the next Guilty Gear game.

I actually really like Tarumi's part in this story. Actually resembles every date I've ever been on. cough I like what this encounter did for Shima as it seems like she has become expressive. Her giggling over repeating the event with Adachi was really funny.

Was half expecting some love triangle thing with Tarumi. It's rather common and I'd be lying if I said I'm not glad it didn't go that way. This time.

Adachi. Ah. That moment when you become a mental shut-in. Been mulling over that for myself a lot.

And Shima won the contest. I think the story only mentioned her noticing the secret letter portion of the show once? Neat how they sprang that on us during the "date."

and there was so much more I'm forgetting but will likely be thinking about as I await the next chapters.

The final scene was sweet.

Well. This is one of my absolute favorite stories. I even have an idea how it ends after reading a summary from someone who read it a long time ago. I liked this so much it was one of the things that made me try much harder to learn Japanese. I still failed though. but I've never given up on anything in my entire life and will no doubt try again. I litteraly don't know when to quit.

1. pfhahaha! These kids get so into these simple things. It's infectious. This is slice of life I can work with. The ones, animes mostly, about girls doing nothing usually put me to sleep. And I usually only watch them because it's often among the few sources of animated yuri.

This was real good. Doubt I'm gonna explain this right but its the kinda work I'd like to do despite doing troupe-y things like the "troublesome character becoming a classmate the next day" and the art veering towards cutesy which I don't care for. It think it has the write energy and speed, I wanna say? yep. told you I probably wouldn't make sense on this one.

Oh. So is that part over? My problem with love triangles has never been fear that it would break up the main pair or whatever. It was mostly the stuff around it. People turning on th third wheel. Ship wars. The feeling authors only do it as a cheap way to trigger people.

I'm trying to chill out about their inclusion in stories.

Does it seem to anyone else that most love song about love triangles are from the perspective of third angle? Might just be what I've heard though . . .

I suck. I always say I don't get the whole robots/ai learning to love thing and why stories insist on it being a thing but read every single damn story that includes it(not that this got too far with it) Could blame what seems to be a low amount of scifi yuri. maybe?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, You is my favorite type of MC. I can't believe this will never go beyond subtext, they are made for each other.

Even so. It's so good! Will have to imagine them pairing up in the future and will have very little difficulty doing that.
This chapter was a real treat.

@Looking East I intend to finish it. I bought and read all three volumes so we can properly finish this series. It may take a few months or a year to do it, but I will do whatever I can to make it happen.
