I doubt that it's a metaphor, as we've been told in the previous story that Sakuma is "big, white and doesn't like the heat". And I don't think it's white as in "white person".

Yeah, there's a big differce the horrible Furry subculture and this.

On a personal note, girls with braids and glasses are my absolute favorites, and it's super frustrating that this is just a flashback character and not a cast member.

It's a girl in love with a bear, no science glasses needed.

The real question is if they're dating, or are still officially just friends (I'm not questioning if it's yuri, that's obvious). Both these stories were really cute, either way.

Don't give up hope just because of the subtext tag. When we started, people were arguing if there even is subtext in this manga. Now, it's canon that Yukime is gay for Kuuko.
We're making progress, I think there's a small chance we might actually end up with at least Yukime and Kuuko as a couple, if we're lucky.

Yuri dates are wonderful, and we need more art of it.

Kinda odd that's there's no tag for it, though.

Horndogs is a much better insult, too.

Putting the boots and jacket back on after removing the pants and shirt is hot as fuck, just saying.

Thanks to the game, it's now sort-of-maybe-kinda canon that Hannah is probably at least a bit bicurious, if not all out gay. And it's doing wonders for fan art.

And it's only gay if the balls are touching, so they'll be fine.

She's the perfect friend for Arisa, because her urge for girl talk and feeling like a sex expert cancels out how overwhelming Arisa's bluntness is.
I love the straight, supportive best friends type of characters in yuri stories. They don't get a lot of recognition, and are somewhat rare, but they do their best.

The manga will probably never get to that point, but I just know that Hara-san is gonna be maid of honor at Arisa's and Maris' wedding one day. And it's gonna be your typical sitcom wedding, where everything goes wrong yet ends up heartwarming and happy.
