I certainly wouldn't say the writing in the first two chapters of this Anthology sucked. It was a unpleasant subject matter, but that doesn't mean it's bad in any way. It's like saying Sophie's Choice was badly written.

AnoKiss series have the same problem with writing and the pacing.

From the chapter list I think there's 2 more parts to this story too btw. So the potential for the Satake story is high

But wait... I've always thought that Setsu was the 12th Oddman. I mean she recovers from severe physical injury by curling up in a comic book store for crying out loud! (From one of the early chapters.) Then maybe she'll turn out to be the real 11th Oddman? Just a passing thought.

This one feels a bit disjointed, kinda hard to follow, especially at the cafe. Feels like it could have used 10-15 pages more to spread things out a bit. There's things in it I like, but still.

and now the artist only does yaoi, so thats that :(

Most certainly. I'm shocked at how little I can find about them, Manga Updates says they did some yaoi in 2001, but apart from that I'm struggling. Did they do more yuri?? Or is this oneshot from a issue of Hirari their sole release?
