Seju only knew for sure that Sumin still loved her in ch 54, and Sumin wanted to end things regardless.. it felt like a break up pain all over again after 10 years .. Sumin decision of not being with Seju because she hates her will be of a less shock to her.. now she can't be even where she used to be, a friend with benefit.. or feel that emotion from a distance.. not even have Sumin in her side to comfort her as she used to.

Sumin won't be taking her anger on Seju anymore & refused to start over.. basically, the way they functioned all the previous 10 years is no longer possible.. and it is not only about Sungji.. as you can see in ch64 (she was already dumbed by then).. or any girl.. it is Sumin now really wanting to leave her.

It is why Sungji presence in itself in Sumin's life is not that crucial at this point.
and even if Sungji leaves, Seju is not sure whether waiting for Sumin (like she always do) will fruit anything.

well, Dawoon character was built in 6 chapter, so it can happen.. besides, who else could play this role from the characters we knew?
if the new team leader is Seju's last plan, then I believe we have not seen this character yet.. and it is important.

It won't happen unless this new team leader looks just like Sumin.

appearances + authority characteristics + reserved personality = Sungji's type (as I personally think)

One more thing, and about afraid of Sungji's misunderstandings, Sumin jumped on to Seju's body will give alot more misunderstandings than Seju with bathrobe =))))), the compromise position they are in will be the death of sumin if sungji appeared. Plus, sumin doesnt stop seju from getting too close or touchy with her in the morning. Dont you find it bipolar? If Sumin's afraid of misunderstandings, physical contacts with Seju should be kept minimal, not like this

in those two scenes tho, Sumin is going to be in trouble anyways, she promised Sungji that they will be using totally two different spaces and Seju will be only in her room. so so Sumin.. where should you begin to explain any of that XD

the reason it adds to why I see it as a lust is because the emphasis she had on making Seju clothed the whole time.

you actually brought a nice argument that can explain mine,
so if she does not act uncomfortable towards Seju's flirts because as you said she does not care, then why taking such a jump on her.. she would have been simply comfortable and indifferent.. nothing that Seju said at that moment should made Sumin so defensive unless she was already uneasy.

I had a look again on their body language, they were not as clear as in ch74 or in 69, 55, I'll list what I think in case it interests you:

• the look on Sumin's face as she enters the house is relaxed, like she is doing a routine thing
  (note that Sumin lived alone for a long time.. which means that she is not burdened by the visiter)

• of course, later she is so scared ( I'm not sure which amount of fear is normal given the situation)

• as Sumin orders Seju to change her cloths, she moved to a more aggressive posture, Seju seems unaffected,
  later Sumin puts her hand on the table to demonstrate control (when Seju was saying: I can't even stay in my own house, I think the real translation is: I can't even stay at my house as I please.. did she mean to remind Sumin that she still owns the house or did she mean the clothing matter in which Sumin asked her about the promise)

• as Sumin jumps above Seju, there are two signs that make me sure she was in fact lusting:
  1- half lidded eyes
  2- moisturised lips (more than usual)

( I can hear her talking with a deep voice hehehe )

Next morning:

• Sumin did not reject or seem uncomfortable with the obvious flirt.. in fact if you check her last side glare it reminds me of the one in ch2 morning.

• Sumin gave Sungji the softest warm look at the office ( I do not remember if she gave her one like that before) , as Sungji holds Sumin, I am not sure if Sumin position to be cornered between the window and Sungji has a specific message, still Sungji's hands-work as dominant. Then later she does the same protective hand gesture of the last chapter in bed.

These are all what I was able to think about.

Sumin has no reason to leave Seju by her own after what she saw.. Saehyun already said that they brought a doctor and nothing was dangerous on her life (btw, that converstation took place at Seju's house, notice the decor )
So I believe they went straight from Seju's house to Sumin's.. or possibly, Sumin went first and her brother dropped her by.. A room being ready may take an hour only.. a week is a bit too long. Seju did not go to a hospital.. she was not left alone

now, next day accourding to the manhwa time is Saturday (half working day), the team leader arrives AND a weekend which means more time for the three to interact again.

How did you know the timeline of the story so well? When did they mention which day that day was? And I believe korean working days probably are the same with most Asian countries aka, two full days of weekend?

Simple counting, Sumin arrived on Saturday, slept with Sungji (and mentioned that tomorrow is Sunday)..
Sunday: Sungji's family finds out about them
Monday: the staff get their presents and the park talk at night.
Tuesday: Sumin and Seju talk at the office, goes home with Sungji, then later at night calls Seju to meet next day.
Wednesday: the Assasin creed.. Seju sleeps over and:
Thursday: sumin talks to Seju about the promises and goes to work in ch78
Friday: the last day u saw in ch 78.

No days in between.. the sequence showes very close incidents

Saturday: is a half office day in some korean offices from 9:00 to 13:00

My eyes are on;
Sungji and the new TL in the next chapter. If nothing happens there, then thats it. Just Pure love.

I agree with you
Sungji being special among morally corrupted characters is nice but not enough.. knowing Sumin's history with Sangmi (the Lawer).. but what is really special about Sungji is how she would not let go no matter how Sumin is disconnected from her.. it can be percieved as great pure love from Sungji's part, but is it ?!

What if Sungji loves "being" with Sumin for reasons other than love?..
competitiveness or braging rights that she is dating the rich team leader (as someone said on FB) or her ability to experience new and expensive things or her "common" face?!

Now, one more test to see why Sungji is so attached to Sumin, the new team leader.

The reason I'm always sceptical about her is that I still cant accept this simplicity in a major TG character.. to a point that Nammi seems more complex !
Team Gaji are concealing alot, for example:

• whether Sungji forave Sumin (she said she will give the answe later..)
• whether she still love Sumin (remember last time she said it?.. ch38 and never returned it back)

What is it really for her to take it so far to stand on Seju's face (the owner of the company she works for) and to accept Sumin half-assed affection.

I remember Dawoon, she made Sungji feel good to a point she compares her to Sumin, but Sungji was not attracted to Dawoon to begin with.
Ch 62, contains very intresting Sungji's inner thoughts.
Now if the team leader is her ideal type, and would also treat her well (like Dawoon) , would she still fight for Sumin?
If yes, then its the pure crazy first love, Sungji is a saint XD and I will accept that result.

We got what we wanted from ch74, seeing Sumin experience the posibility of losing Seju, we saw the three charcters interact (even for a tiny bit).. now, next day accourding to the manhwa time is Saturday (half working day), the team leader arrives AND a weekend which means more time for the three to interact again.

Now, if I think like Sumin, then Sungji love comes out of strong attraction to appearances, while Sumin love to Seju started off as really good friends who only hung out together.. it was not till their college years when they first slept together.. maybe that is why Sumin had that flashback of the Silver haired girl in the bathtop (cant recall the chapter ).. and as I said previously, no doubt that Sumin likes and cares about Sungji so much.. I just question what they know about each other.. what is new now for a person who dated 31 women (almost a whole class).. the pragmatic side of Sumin and her age/experiences hinder her from going all in for Sungji and investing more in the relationship.
It is however too late now for the three to grow separate ways in the remaining 7 chapters.

it could be what you said is why precisely some do not find her that interesting. but the honesty part does not settle with me 100%, many incidents suggest that she hides every encounter she has with Seju (understandable but not 100% honest.. specially the ring thing), previously I expected if there will be a plot twist then it could be so much in how Sungji grows up or reveal her POV.. could we see a new side of her like the one we saw at the beg of arc3 ?

as for Sungji, I can sometimes understand her and sometimes she confuses me.. fear of pushing someone away is one thing and not demanding respect and explanations are another thing.
it goes way back to when she went with Sumin in a vacation just to find herself badly treated, runs after Sumin later and not ask for apology or explanation to why she did not answer the phone ..
as their story go, the communication problem between them grows, making it hard for me to imagine a steady future for their relationship.. I also question what she finds so amazing in Sumin to accept all the hardship coming from dating her ?
go to ch 39, she hesitated to tell her friends that Sumin treats her well,
then again to ch56 she says: "you were always ready to leave me, but it was not like that for me"
ch 77, she says to Sumin: "I don't want to, but I find my self trusting you"

ever since ch24 to ch77, whenever Sungji is asked -even if indirectly- why she likes Sumin so much, guess what is the answer !

what makes me worry now, that currently her motives are more like rivalry.. she tells Seju: things will not end the way you wanted it to, now things have changed !

I went through the possibility that the passionate crazy sex in ch68-69 is in fact attributed to hysterical bonding ( I guess team Gaji are well informed with non verbal cues) .. so in that case the passionate sex is driven by intense pain and the need to reclaim the partner - look at Sungji's looks and expressions- this phase does not last long before the decision phase comes, which explains why till now Sungji never gave a clear answer whether she did forgive Sumin.

I was used to destining my own preferences to characters from my opinions, but not very much in the last 3 chapters.. I lean to like Seju's character more now, however that does not mean I want Sumin to be her trophy, unless it is very cleanly done and justified.
so it is okay if you tell me now that I'm biased.. I am a sucker for strong sexy mysteries ladies .. add some big boobs and it is a sealed deal

I loved that you guys mentioned how Sumin and Seju do not seem to have the toxic atmosphere between them anymore.

this chapter is particularly special, Sumin's relaxed face as she gets home..
her excessive protectiveness of Seju to an extent that she drives her to and from work.. and cares about her eating habits.. that lusty look + Seju honest smile that we really only saw in their flashbacks.. since this Manhwa began, we never saw them act in this manner during their present time.
indeed, Sumin is being Seju's family and finally experienced the possibility of losing her.
will she feel like falling off a cliff if she lets go? and she can't live if she loses it because it is so precious to her.

as for Sungji's character, I am not sure about her decision regarding the two staying together.. she knows that it is Seju's house, she can't ask Sumin to kick Seju out and even if she does, she knows they won't cut ties or stay away from each other much.. remember, Sungji never told Sumin about Seju being sick, she was insecure back then - before even seeing them on top of each other -, can you imagine her insecurities by now?!..
but right now she is sure that they have feelings for each other still. for two arcs now we saw how Sungji deals with her insecurities.
we used to see Sungji and Sumin interact mainly at work, I do not know how their already dysfunctional communication will be affected now that Sumin and she won't meet at work and Seju is home most of the time. Now, it is no longer possible for them to hide their problems with sex.

I does not settle with me well that Sungji never said that she loves Sumin ever since ch 38, nor that she ever said anything about forgiving her let alone not wanting to call Sumin by her name or something more intimate than "team Leader- Ms. Seong"

look back at the promises Sumin made in ch71 to Sungji, compare it to the one she made in her flashback to Seju ch72.
