Yeah but with this and how Seju shows symtoms of PTSD, suicide is not that far for Seju's character =))). If talking about mental help other than PTSD, both Seju and Sumin need treatment but I guess the author will overlook this.

I hate to get too medical, but changing the environment is one of the most effective steps in overcoming PTSD, brings me again to Seju's father plan.

Its not that I dont believe it ( I do, believe me, since I'm also Asian person) but question is does TG obssess about it to the point of using them for their characters? If Seju is indeed suffering from PTSD, the author could use it as reason for her crazy acts in the future and make us accept it =)))). Not a very bright future =))))). But I do hope Sumin could find out about this soon, cause Seju needs treatment, PTSD is not a joke

Sumin has a clue, I think this is what Saehyum meant by saying "this girl needs you you" when Sumin thought it was about her safety, but it turns out that her sanity is endangered as well before she will ever show it.
Sumin is getting there by noticing change in Seju eating behaviour and understanding her being scared at night.

I wonder if Sumin suffered from a PTSD too ..

about your question, I think they left many hints in the story,

Sumin not being separated from her mom, her obsession with past memories and the past, her unforgiving and emotional introvert nature.. as well as her liking to antique things like the gift Seju got her from a collector exhibition, very Shy when it came to sex compared to Seju (who is scorpio) and Sungji , her disfavour to distant flights ... the list goes on and onnn a typical Cancer .. I will try not to bore you with it.

btw, the official translation of ch78 has a much better meaning of Sumin's and Seju's convo,

I believe as Seju was lying down, she reminded Sumin that the house is still hers

Seju: ( I can't even do what I want in my own house)

Sumin: (Did you forget what we discussed )

I think she means the condition in ch 76 (to sell the house for her)
but Seju switched it to the promises.

That's the question I want to know the answer too =)))))), i want to know just how much Sungji loves Sumin? And yes, if you're a normal person, the first thing you do when you get asked this question should be rethink your relationship to be able to confidently say yes, you do =))))) so no doubts Sungji will at least have some thoughts about it, especially its from her love rival

the interesting part now, she does not make her question Sumin's love, but her's to Sumin ! that is the new thing that never happened in ch55 ( or ch27).. now, it has nothing to do with how she believes in Sumin anymore.. but whether their relationship worth it or not.

• Seju is still a puzzle @@ when it comes to her actions. The fact that she put up a nonchalant act and hide her real condition, even with Sumin is wierd. She doesnt openly seek for Sumin's comfort and actually she quite respects Sumin's space

I agree with you, yes Sungji surprised me again, this time and in ch55, she is a very stubborn girl and can annoy Seju as much as Seju could annoy her (and make Sumin also do more). However, Seju is still the CEO and somehow could have used that against Sungji.. but she did not.. and Sungji is not scared of that one bit !.. either Seju is not that cruel or Sungji is daring.. or both !!

Not the silence, the question Seju dropped.. I attribute it to her intention on making Sungji question her relationship to Sumin..

well, if we did not have Seju's family background we wouldn't have this story at all.. we would have something like Maka -Maka or whatever !.. the importance of Seju's family started from creating Seju's character itself, to her relationship with Sumin and Sumin's parents and their devastating breakup.. without their effect, then even Sumin's parent death would have no meaning and no real effect on her current character design and then how her relationships went with women.. basically a lame yuri !

they didn't need screen time to show their effect, but you rather see the reflection on Sumin and Seju and their relationship

Imo, she just said that (eating less) to tease sungji. She was surprised that sungji was calm. I still connect her eating habbits to her trauma. I think that scene was too strong, she was breaking hard and she couldn't handle it. Well, i dont want to make any excuse with her touching sumin. She could have just lay there beside her. And yes, i feel sorry for her, a person in real life can't handle all that shit, but i don't see her doing something that could possibly harm anybody as of the moment other than just her being honest at the expense of her own dignity and She didn't beg to sungji,

again, I second this, she will won't show/ admit weakness until it is her last choice.. however Sungji won't expect less than humiliation and pity as a condition to let her stay with Sumin (she is entitled to it anyways for being played so far) .. but Seju had a way to make Sungji question her own feelings toward Sumin..

Good point. After she moved to the sofa, I see Seju grabbing the blanket and trembling. How insensitive of my comments to not realize that the PTSD is killing her.

Damn, now I'm not sure what to think.

many symptoms are shown in addition to her inability to eat well or sleep well.. but she is easily startled at the sometime shows slow/no reactions toward other emotional stressors. But she was not as pathetic to break again and humiliate herself to Sumin and Sungji.. she used somewhat a diplomatic way.. with a bit of hinting her other motives and hiding her suffocating need to someone who can take care of her now.

• as I see it this chapter, Seju does not show truly how much she is traumatised to any one, and keeps it to herself, crawling to bed next to Sumin totally understandable, the way those two express their emotion to each other was primarily through physical contact for a very long-term..

• I liked so much how Sumin made a great decision, she did not push her violently nor allowed it to cross the limit .. applaud to Sumin !

Nora, I think you should really stop finding signs to prove Sungji has a bad side. Really, she's an angel in disguise :) and always stand high :).

I am not trying to find a bad side in Sungji.. she is stubborn and up front (loves food ) whether it is about her sign or not.. again as she is designed.. but it does not mean I understand why she does some stuff..

I understand it, that's why I feel conflicted =))))))), the more the story goes, the more the author makes Seju go beyond pathetic, I wonder how far they would step on her character. Never in my life have I encountered a character like this, let alone like her =)))))

for a very simple reason, I find it hard to see a future for Sumin and Sungji.. but then I can totally understand Seju and Sumin and see their attraction on different levels.. it also feels right given the so many uncovered hints.

I've noticed tho that the writer is a scorpio and shares the same birthday as Seju.. and all three represent the typical characteristics of the horoscope they have.. Sumin is so much of Cancer.. who is so attached to her mother (before she died) and Sungji is a Taurus (shares Gaji's sign)

I understand why they made that, it actually gives a guide line to design characters.

saying that, Seju's is in need with Sumin nurturing, and Sumin may find it very hard to find someone who will share her the same connection she has with the Scorpio Seju (she will fight till the end as stubborn with intense feeling and emotion that others will not suspect)
