I think that of somebody drew a huge Venn diagram of which tags are mutually exclusive of each other would clear up this mess of an ‘ahem’ debate about the use of this tag to label mangas. Someone from admin should spell it out and quell the flames by making the boundaries of what qualifies as “wholesome”.

Well, you got your Venn diagram. Much like the far more specific Idiot Couple tag, I think we're at a stage of, "Tag everything that obviously fits what we have in mind." The firm definition and exclusion(s) will come after, but not much later.

The original was written November 19th of last year, for those curious. I'll spare everyone the political joke, but it's certainly self-evident. I think there's a lot more this doujin could do with, but all-in-all it's a significantly interesting and unique read for a doujin. Which is saying something! Considering it's Touhou and all.

The ending is quite abrupt so you may be correct. In the way of publishers, it always is these online folks who are just miles and miles ahead of the pack in terms of being awful, so the cut chapters aren't surprising in the least.

And, if not arguing about it, there's certainly merit to discussing the tag. Personally, I really don't want to click on a manga with the Wholesome tag only to see **** because somebody thought it would be funny to meme about, so I think establishing an understanding of what the community thinks is fit for the tag isn't a bad thing.

I agree with the rest of your sentiment, but I would just say that all tags complement each other by default. If a manga has Wholesome and Comedy and no Drama or NSFW, then it would be safe to assume that it's Wholesome as you'd like to employ it. However, there may be cause - I don't know presently - to pair Wholesome with a tag you wouldn't do the same with. I'm pointing this out because when considering what to read, one should always consider all tags present before making a determination. Hopefully that makes sense.

This is a great little oneshot. It almost doesn't work specifically because it's a oneshot, it would be much better if given the room of something that went 2-3 parts. That would allow us to get a look into Mayu's head, which would bring the character interactions together in a more meaningful way. I tried to write more but it didn't come out right, so I'll just leave it at that.
