Ah I see. Even with how generous this event is with mats, we always need more. I'm still getting torn on whether using the mats to elite 2 Angelina or elite 2 and mastery 3 Specter. Tho I think I should really go for Specter. Mostly cause I like her more. Anyway, I don't mind changing my support. I set up Hellagur with his 3rd skill

Just looked at Haze's E2 art. Very bdsm lol. Noticed that with her skill 2, she can pretty much reduce a target's RES while the skill is active. Btw, I'm willing to take requests to changing my support units so if you want, I can bring out my Hellagur too. Also, checked gamepress, seems most of FEater's mastery mats are in the event shop except for the Keton Colloid. I assume that's difficult for you to get right now?

Today's daily has a 4 ops only contract. Dunno if it's doable to take that for risk 8 with lower rarity ops but I did it with SilverAsh, Hellagur, Estelle, and Saria. Might be easier for most to just do the 4 ops contract with the support contract for the daily mission.

Unfortunately, I blew all my resources on Hellagur. Well, I like him more anyway. Definitely thought about it, cause I had all of FEater's mats but then I'd have to mastery 3 her first skill. There was also leveling my Angelina and just borrowing FEater. Or I just use my Magallan (not E2 tho). So many options to ponder but I decided on just using favorites. It's why my next E2 will be Specter just cause lol.

Don't worry too much about the missions for the permanent map. Afaik, only the dailies reset. The permanent map and its accompanying missions do not. Anyway, I just E2'd my HellaGOD but still I think I can only do risk 16 for the first week. My Cuora can only tank so much. Red weebs with +80% attack is a bit much for now.

I don't know about really easy, but it wasn't as bad as yesterday's daily. Having a friend's Siege definitely helps.

By the way, has anyone cleared the "4 Operators Only" mission?

I did it. Used E2 Eyja, E2 SilverAsh, E2 Cuora and E1 Ptilopsis. This was my reference

Imo, today's daily contracts are easier. Just use the -50% attack with the support contract for the mission. For trying risk 8, choosing no casters and defenders is better than no ground units. Lol that no ground units risk is for masochists.

Sorry about not helping more lol. There were 3 annoying waves in yesterday's daily.
For the 1st one yeah, either cheap vanguard or just let 2 leak since you DON'T need a perfect clear for risk 8.
Second wave, finish your deploys, have AoE dmg.
Third wave... SA lol.
Yeah, I used Red/Gravel/Vigna rotation for baiting as well. Hellagur totally carries that map is you bring him lol I didn't

Today's daily looks a lot harder tbh...I have my Angel at e2 but my only other maxed out sniper is Kroos. Meteor is e1 50 s5, Blue poison is e1 58 s7, Platinum is e1 69 s6, the others are not even e1. I think Ange can probably help out but I have to get creative with the restrictions. No melee OPs make it hard to position all the snipers with no vanguards. Imma grind exp/lmd today and see if I can max them out and try it like that.

Admittedly I was able to clear it with SilverAsh with only 3 snipers (the other one was AoE and admittedly did not do much). I do not recommend taking the no ground units tag. Imo, better to have 3 blockers or even 2 for the swarm of bugs. I've always liked Platinum so having her made the map easier too by taking out most of the bomb drones.

Wow. Hard to believe YarnGirl was a new player a month ago. I still don't have a max leveled unit yet. Costs too much lol

Btw, suggestion for a risk 8 clear for today, better to choose the ban on ranged units than the ban on defenders and healers. At least the former will still let you deploy healing defenders.

Speaking of CC, managed to clear risk 8 on the daily map and then risk 14 on the permanent map. Could only do 14 since I cannot unlock more contracts until reset. It was fun but quite hard indeed.

Just E2'd the Rhine Lab family in one go. The joy and satisfaction of doing so outweighs the loss of so much resources.

Happy I got Waai Fu since I prepared all the resources to elite 2 her immediately. Also got a bonus Mostima. Event story was wild. So many things happening. Would like to see that Texas vs Waai Fu street fight animated. Also introduced a bunch of currently unplayable but very interesting characters.

I had also thought sensei was a reasonable adult but seems she has desires too.

I mean, sure, Reunion has too many of those typical anime-style "mwhahaha I'm such evil look at the edgy rubbish I say HA HA HA" characters so you can't really sympathize with them. But their motivation in principle makes sense to me. And wishy-washy Rhodos with, sure, an admirable goal of "we want everyone to get along!" but a rather nebulous plan on how to achieve it is ... weird to me.

I feel like only Mephisto is the outright FOR THE EVULZ Reunion member.

If you fought both sides as some sort of human-infected alliance that'd be against either extreme that'd make some sense to me, I guess. But just firmly sticking it to Reunion seems like a stupid course of action.

I've always thought of Rhodes Island as the neutral middle ground between the radical Reunion and the anti-Infected state governments. And I do think the latter will prove to be the bigger bad when the Reunion arc ends. Seems to be the direction we're going too given that Reunion is merely a proxy by Ursus and Kazdel

I just find it weird since usually I wouldn't expect much of a story from this type of game anyway. Just some really basic plot. Instead they went for something that certainly has some "shades of grey" but it's just not working for me.

Oh well. Ymmv. I do like the morally gray aspect of it... nothing like leading a pharmaceutical company with the goal of curing Infected and then getting asked "How many Infected have you killed today?" The answer is at least 2000 for that weekly orundum >:D

Interesting take, cause the common complaint I've seen (which I assumed was a Western bias) is that Reunion is all complete monsters and terrorists (not necessarily wrong). They don't get the motivations of why Reunion resorted to such bloody methods, completely missing the persecution of being Infected, and saying that if it was that bad being Infected, why not just join Rhodes Island the good guys instead of Reunion the bad guys.
