I think it pretty much will. If anything, I'd bet this will be used to get her past her old trauma, bringing us to a new place where it'll be easier to get past the, um, worker-client relationship.

idk about getting past the trauma just yet but i suspect that this reminding her of being abandoned by someone important might make some things click into place regarding what amano is beginning to mean to her

agree! the flashbacks of the texts we saw didn’t exactly give a sense of whoever it was really .. enjoying .. their time around Noa, which is the complete opposite situation when it comes to Amano. i’d say that’s why Noa is becoming more and more attracted given the contrast between the two.

That and Amano is such an adorable dork. She's pretty hard to resist !

Nooo everything was so adorable (^^) They really do fit well together ! I guess Noa has some former breakup/abandonment issues, which will probably get triggered a bit by Amano seeming to have left her to help the little girl probably . We're at the act 2 obstacle now I guess ( for those familiar with the three-act structure ) .

Very true, it's a bit like Niji-sensei, way too many irons in the fire at the same time . Clamp was like that back in the day too, so many manga that just never got an ending (^^)

This really makes me see how lucky I am that my parents are always totally cool from the get-go with everything I do. Coming out in my late teens and having my first ''official'' girlfriend was already so nerve-racking , I can't imagine how hard it must be if your parents aren't on your side (^^) I hope Ruri realises how lucky she is as well.

Welp, he's either into moderately older women ( him and Wanko would have lots to talk about on the subject !) or a closeted gay youth in need of advice. I'm leaning more towards the latter option, if only because this is a happy manga and that would be more in line. Time will tell I guess !

Which chapter? I thought it was the other way around, all the time.

It's more of a subtext thing on Harumi's part but to me the first half of volume 3 really solidifies the idea that she's interested in Matsuri in more than a ''friend helping a friend'' way.

Yeah, this kinda hurts now in retrospect (^^) . It's still a solid manga though and you can put your own romance interpretation in it real easy.
