^ TotalBiscuit explains it the best.

Squeenix, what are you doing?
FFXV's crappy PR, this and the Just Cause "Hey you want an Island?".

Dammit, I thought I could stay away from this spoiler thread... And what a time to check in! Missed everything that came after chapter 6 or so.
This chapter with no context still made my heart bleed rainbows.

As for more queer material from Korea... Might I recommend A Girl at My Door (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Girl_at_My_Door)? I saw it recently at an Asian film festival. The writing is tight in this movie.

Read the Plot, dayum that ending.

Or maybe girls are more talkative and most guys are creepy lurkers.

Vouch. Interacting with most of femalekind is a challenge for such inferior being as myself. You meet them and they start reciting their life stories and are turned off when I don't speak.
Their mouth never stops moving.

As for who I am, well my name is Xavier. I'm a French Canadian living in Ontario and I'm 23.

I have a phallic looking object between my legs and I like girls.

I used to be a pretty competitive gamer in the games I've played but with my jaded feelings towards MMO, my dislike for MOBAs in general as well as FPS I'm not really playing much nowadays. I prefer playing RPGs and I'm hyped for Q4 2015-2016.

So I spend my free time reading mangas and recently I've picked up the habbit of reading Xianxia and other CN novels of the martial arts variety. Needless to say I self-insert in all these hard working immortals with a plethora of harem girls.

Regarding Music, I like Metal and EDM of all sub-genres. Basically I like it fast ( That's not what she said ).

That's all I can think of at the moment.

That was before FFVII Remake got announced, so that one's happening regardless i guess

That one doesn't count =P

Funny, he said he would announce the release date on P@X, so it was actually an announcement for the announcement for the announcement of the release date

I'm not sure if it changed but awhile ago Squeenix said that depending on how FFXV does this could mean the end of FF on consoles. This ain't helping my nerves right now.

@takachi It's possible that the next chapter will be the talk with the ex, but then again, so is the visit to Keiko's mom, it has been mention quite a while ago, and it hasn't happened yet.

Guess we differ on the enjoyment of drama. I've had more than enough drama fics/mangas/doujins to last me quite a while and I really don't want to see any more. What's happening here isn't really drama though, and Shou hasn't shown that he writes it like that. I guess we'll see.

I would think the Ex would be first. All things considered he's much easier to deal with emotionally for Keiko than her mother. He's been her first stable partner and putting the miscarriage fiasco afterwards in which shes pushes him away and he can't cope they would seem to have an okay relationship.

Her mother on the other hand with what we know is a sack of shit of the higest degree ever since her early childhood. I'm sure there's so much baggage there that could make a confrontation at this point detrimental. She needs to deal with the "small stuff" and get more support from Ran because to me the mother looks like the final boss.

Remember in order to grow, you have to do it small steps at a time ( Wuxia/Xianxia novels represent! )

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! WE COULD HAVE HAD A YURI MATURE WIFE COUPLE NETORARE?! WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T WE HAD SUCH A DELICIOUSLY STICKY DEVELOPMENT?!

Because female readers would scorn it? I dunno, Japanese are very "duty" minded usually, I could totally see them hating it especially if there's children and the matter of the "family unit" at risk.
You're talking about a country where the married couple often call eachother "mother" and "father" because their role is more important to them than their own individual selves. Although that's changing slightly over time.

There's a difference in ditching a boyfriend/girlfriend in your teens and ditching your spouse.

At least that's my take on it, to me it seems less risky to do a cliché high school drama romance especially considering the mag and the audience.

I get why people would find him inherently likeable, but a favorite? Sorry, but I don't really consider standard human decency to be anything to shout about.

See, here's the thing... "Standard human decency" and other things like "Common sense" are actually not standard nor common. Doubly so in pretty much any romantic fiction in mangas that has DRAMA. There's always one or multiple antagonists that are scum of the earth because DRAMA.

So yes these straight female readers in JP really like him. Remember these same readers probably read shoujo as well and have to deal with all the girls in bathroom bullying, girls pushy down the stairs, "chop chop" girls ( cut the hair short because jelly as fuck ), the rapey guy, the wall pushing guy, the "because I love you I will bully you guy" and so on.

Is it that surprising that he's well liked? Although he has his short comings, he's not a trainwreck of messed up. He's also a pity magnet because he will get the short end of the stick. People feel bad for the loser especially if he's not a scumbag of the highest order.

It sounds like that's what you're saying, and I'll repeat my stance. That's super unreasonable.

B-But m-muh purest form of love!

Mango and sticky rice icecream seems like a bizarre combo.

Mango icecream is so good that I can bet you I could eat it with virtually anything.

Yeah, their Kickstarter almost 2 years ago said something similar and a bunch of people bought it on that basis. And then it got delayed. And delayed. And ports to systems not mentioned in the Kickstarter came out. And the delays continued. Not putting a lot of faith in their promises any more, to be honest. It'll take an actually released product to be convincing at all.

Well, I'm not invested in this too much because I dont haz Linux but if they didn't specify anything about the release date then it's not THAT bad. But from you are saying it seems they overpromised on how fast they could deliver a Linux version, that sucks.

If it comes out with the SE in Fall 2015 like the current schedule is set to then it means they ported consoles + Linux a bit more than one year after the initial release, compared to many smaller studios taking like 2 years just for an OSX version I don't think it's much of a crime in itself.

Even bigger studios sometimes take much longer to port certain games, or just don't even bother. Of course this train of thought only is viable if they actually deliver this Fall.

I hope they can learn from their mistakes, because they delivered much of what they promised gameplay wise.

Hey, maybe by the time the second game is released they'll make good on their promise of a Linux version from their first Kickstarter!

Was it promised on their kickstarter? I can't remember. Sucks, you use Linux right? So many games are promised to have a Linux release date but it often never materialized itself.

Well a quick search shows a Twitter from June saying they plan for everyone to be able to play the Special Edition, meaning Ps4/Xbone/Linux.

they seem honest enough but thiss isnt fucking charity?

I'm sure Larian Studios can get bigger Loans and whatnot now that it did show it could produce a decent game, it doesn't mean that they don't want mo' money. CEO wanted to make this sort of game since the 1990s so it's sort of a "I want to make my dream game now, gieb more money oki?".

Does anyone else think of The Female Body when she talks about Takkun and his mom at the start? I know there's no actual crossover, but it's a nice fantasy.

Obviously me! The Female Body is one of my favourite yuri oneshot.

I dont want to be rude or mean but it is so interesting, that series with such lack of plot or characters development, gained so much attention. All this discussions and analyzing. I don't even know why I am reading this manga. It got all awfulness u can find in typical micheal-bay-like-yuri - drama, stupidness and oh no! what is that? is it excitement?

Series with Drama and bad things happening tend to have a lot of comments for many reasons. People want to voice how upset they are at the content, some want to show their hate for certain characters. Then there's the "guises don't worry good end will happen" who try to mitigate the drama.

Then there's the fact that these chapters are released back to back in a short time and so everyone is still "in the mood" to comment as the whole thing is still very fresh in their minds. Just look at any two similar mangas but one is scanlated at a like 3 month per chapter rate and one is like clockwork each week.

I know for a fact that in the United States even if they did ALL those things. It's not rape unless penetration is involved. Literally. That's it. There HAS to be penetration for it to be consider rape/sexual assault.

Pretty sure this isn't true anymore. At least not for all states, sex laws differs from state to state so I guess it's possible in some states that what you say is true.

Basically it's near impossible for a guy to get raped, according to the law and lesbians simply cannot rape people (although I'm not sure whether penetration via toys counts though to be honest). How's that for reasonable?

Funnily enough the U.S. Army has a pretty decent definition of rape and sexual assault. Not that it's enforced very well but on paper it's there and includes a lot.

P.S. This oneshot is a 10/10 masterpiece.

Is pachinko really that popular in Japan?

A Gambling machine in a country where it's illegal to gamble. You can actively become better at the game to make money out of it.

How do you think NEETs don't die in the cold? They play pachinko and have mastered the art of little balls enough to pay their small place and buy all the figurines and dakimuras they want.

Welp, this active time report was balls, the last hope now is the stage presentation

It was, why would they pick questions they can't answer. I know why, for the hype but... There is no hype.

The hype was that they would skip E3 and make their big reveal on Gamescom but this wasn't the case(yet...)

But now it looks like they'll sprinkle little news now, then at PAX Prime and then the big big thing at TGS? They have no ide how devastating it is that you hype an event so hard to reveal little. I'd like to meet the crew responsible for advertisment, they suck mega balls.

I guess the biggest thing we learned is that it's "not far" in development at all. Literally all of my what? I guess the Luminus engine is really unyieldy and this might backfire as well, seems to have the same issue as scalebound. Twitch chat was spamming "Final FPS 15" When they shown the small "gameplay" video.

The ending is great.
