I've started rereading this series and yeah, Ohsawa isn't the best when it comes to storytelling. No wonder I dropped this before, and also did the same with Hello, Melancholic!.

Actually, I think I don't really like any of her works. lol I laugh, but it truly is a shame, because her art is good and the plots are somewhat interesting...

I am fine with her oneshots, but for some reason, she seems to overcomplicate everything longer than 2-3 chapters. Sadge.

I was thinking that Kaneike would be more jealous of Yurika, but this seemed to hint she could tell how Minamo feels and is supportive of it. Well, it's a bit little go on, but that was my feeling reading it.

Her character intro in chapter 0 is that she is a kind and warm person. I dunno about being able to clue in on things, but I can totally see her being plain happy that Minamo has a friend she cares about, considering how grumpy and distant she is usually.

Was this posted here before? I could have sworn I saw something like this already, set up the exact same way. Ex-roomate left pot or other appliance at old house, one of the mcs becomes friends with someone. Ex-roomate is called to pick it up, and then they call when they get there, and it's the new friend the mc made. Was there another manga that used this exact same setup?

Very late, but tiddies are not always an indication of the character not being male. EMIYA has the biggest bust of the cast in F/SN, for example.

I think the "but we're both girls" trope is a lot more realistic than pretending being gay is the default in the story. Like the person above me said a girl might be worried about losing her friend and she doesn't even bother to think if said friend is into girls without having asked. At some point I just can't even suspend my disbelief. And then all the side characters turn out to be gay too?

Just slap the Isekai tag on them, cut it certainly feels like an entirely different world.

I was considering re-reading this while traveling for Christmas, but I decided against it since it would be really awkward to sit on a train with a big smile on my face.

Why? I read the AdaShima novels on the bus and at work during breaks and had no issues laughing at full volume during the Adachi chapters. Don't let the eyes of strangers stop you from enjoying yourself.
