I don't myself call actual afterlife with actual memory-having personalities with actual physical contact between them bittersweet at all. Everyone dies. I don't rate the chances of real afterlife very high, though people who disagree are probably happier.

^ You mean like this?

I guess! Though those end in 2020, and there's a whole lot after that

^^ Tweet says just thousand and one nights. Aladdin wasn't originally part of that, though author/people in general might not know. I mean, there is a lamp though the carpet doesn't fly.
Aladdin was added into the medieval middle-eastern collection by a western traveler based on a folktale from 1700's.
Fun fact: Aladdin was a Chinese muslim in the original tales, imagine if Disney could have done that back then.

If someone hasn't checked the source, there are like 150 pictures of them there, all of which could easily be uploaded here. They are the best.

Not sure this is the best place for this but- did the site recently change how lists work? They used to be one long list and now mine seem to be split into pages- which is useless if i want to Ctrl-F search through my list looking for tags or names etc.

If this IS a change, is there any way to make them go back to a single long list? The lists lost 90% of their usefulness like this for me- i see no easy way to search a list now?

Same. It's a huge pain to click through 14 pages of pairings to get to the page you want.

Something I've wanted to ask before: I check this site practically daily due to empty life. The calendar about this next to the tags at the top says "28.2".
I noticed this on the "recently added" text list on the right of mainpage today. I'm pretty sure this did not appear on the left side thumbnailed and tagged list at 28.2 since I would have looked at it and noticed it. NOW it seems to be on the list for 28.2 on the second page, but the comments here start from 5.3.

In the end though, fans read abo for the abo dynamics. They enjoy the binary, the dominant alpha over the submissive omega or beta.

I have seen some amount of this on pixiv, since I have some small amount of guilty pleasure (guilty because it is very creepy in many ways, as mentioned) about it, and also a genuine "I'm kind of fascinated by this socially peculiar thing that people are into - it piles a trillion fetishes on top of one another and people think or pretend that it has interesting things to say about gender dynamics or whatever" - "academic" interest on it.

On that note, I stress that it isn't just "normal" binary dynamics, people also do really enjoy the fact that from our perspective (using quotations here when talking about aboverse) a "woman" can be an alpha and a "man" or another "woman" can be an omega.
This is very, very popular in east asia, I let you imagine the social reasons that might make that to be the case. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing, I'd think that some people esp. there are just very into the idea that a woman (without quotations, talking from our perspective) can dominate and impregnate a man. Or a man another man. Or woman to a woman. In ABO world, "men" aren't the only ones to dominate the world, alpha "women" can also do that since there doesn't seem to be any difference - I've seen a story where 5 omega-bullying beta men ran from one alpha woman in terror. This probably genuinely feels empowering to some, despite or regardless of how rapey it is. There's a lot of our-world yuri in this site and everywhere with very clear "this girl is the man" and "this girl is the wife" as if nothing changed in any dynamic with same gender relationship, after all.

Also, I have no clue if there's some level of "official" ABO canon, but most stories I've seen people HAVE drugs they can take to suppress their instincts or pheromones. Realistically, we absolutely would though also realistically that world would look very, very different to ours after 200,000 years of abo dynamics, and society might or might not be on this technological level or anywhere close to it.

(since they so often seem to stray far far away from the original characters)

I mean, that what doujins are for.

I don't quite agree with that. What doujins are for (well, aside from romance/personal wish fulfilment) are showing characters we know in situations the original show/s would not put them into, or develop them in ways original show wouldn't, (which is often romance) what-if scenarios and so on. If you start with licensed characters who are far away from their normal character, without showing first how they got there, you should use your own characters instead of leeching on popularity of someone else.

...so she's now awkward around other people too? Either it's been so long I don't remember or that's new, how does one become a CEO when also having problems with ordering stuff :P

Serious answer: she is awkward now due to thinking about Noa.

"Funny" answer: She was good at delegating other people to order stuff

The idea of feeling your mind regressing along with your age is honestly such a terrifying thing to me.

Less or more than what happens, to a small or a massive degree, to everyone of us when old enough?

I am supposing that any of us lives old in what the world is becoming, but still.

Firstly, people probably should not take characters of this author as if they were real close friends whose behavior you are criticizing - like the my teacher is my sex friend in which there are some really deplorable things and really questionable behaviors going on but it's darn funny, which is the point. Point is not to think what will happen to the relationship (or mental health) of the trio when the teacher fucks both mother and daughter.

Secondly, and more importantly, it is always very disappointing and painful to see disdain or even hate towards bisexuality from gay/GL-BL audience. They are not "confused" or "playing around", they like both sides, and that is just as normal as homosexuality (or heterosexuality) is. I get why people do this, since all people think in black and white, my friend or my enemy, but maybe try to think a bit of how much it would piss you off if and when heterosexuals call a gay relationship disgusting or when they call it just pandering and being woke or whatever the fuck is always done as a "response" to small lgbt representation.

Like it would be funny if it WAS just an absurd joke someone made in a comment a while back about "feeling like a touch of dick forever taints your yuri" or something like that.

If you can't change your mindset, avoiding the bisexual tag instead of complaining about the things it represents would be the least thing to do.

Is it normal to talk about girls like that at the workplace? seems so weird and would definitely result in a HR call

This is Japan here, not whatever western country that is at least -slightly- better about sexism and women.
Yes, they absolutely would talk like that and it would certainly not result in any reprimands.
