I like the settings where yuri kisses are the solution to every problem.

I think this is why I like this series more than Marching Puppy by the same author. There, the military academy setting seemed like a kinda uneasy fit for the story the author wanted to tell (apart from the spiffy uniforms obviously.) But here, it's like the whole fantasy setting was built from the ground up to facilitate yuri fluff.

If they were eating it up I don't think it would have been axed after chapter 28. Granted a lot of authors get much less than that to work with, but it doesn't feel like that was the length this series was supposed to be.
