The series isn't far enough out to tell yet! We're only at Chapter 12. I speculate that Aoi might die before they can figure out how to save Sara, if that's what they end up trying to do.

Further speculation, on page 18 of chapter 9, they went to the 3rd year classroom and acted out class because Sara will be dead before she can ever become a third year. Friendly reminder that this story has always been weirdly uncomfortable and dark.

Well I am not sure about the speculation, since it only means that kouhai kun feels depressed after hearing that she "will die within less than a year", enough that she will ask senpai kun (who was shown to question her kouhai for the choice of classroom and is thus probably clueless about kouhai kun's thoughts) to go to 3rd year classroom. This just serves a natural flow of events rather than foreshadowing I guess?

Well it does have yuri, but if I anyone is looking for legit (not the taking advantage of the person to fill in the gap kind), then the spin off Kuzu No Honkai Decor is probably a better one, 4 chapters so far but I already ships Ecchan with her sensei ~

Re-reading this again and I realize how much I love Kodama's work. People may say that her work is trash and all, but I think it is more relatable than ever, like she understands the deepest and darkest desires inside everyone of us, those that even we ourselves are too ashamed to admit and then presents it to the whole world as the other side of love. I admit that I won't be able to understand these characters because they are too twisted and complicated, but that doesn't mean their love story is not a beautiful one. Nice ending for a nice story I may say :) Though chapter 6 really reminds me of NTR (Hotaru also ran away when she is heartbroken lol)

Woah this is probably the most promising setting I have seen from Kodama so far (don't get me wrong, I am one of those who really enjoy reading her work). The characters seem more real this time (and yeah the Hotaru vibe is real, hell her name even starts with a H, but less intense, ), I wouldn't mind reading about their normal lives and how Hana gonna win over Machi-senpai's heart through top-notched cooking skills lol (pray that this time Kodama will stop throwing in unnecessary drama to torture these poor souls)
