Finally, some good f food

What, this is a series?
Let see how many chapter this one goes

No, it's not a series. There's a 5 page extra, and that's it.

I didn't like this "I love you" thing.
Too soon...

Same, when i realized that there's a sequel to this i thought they would get together there.
Saying "i love you" when less the day before you didn't even care about that person feels way too fast for my taste...

Guys, is implied that they had sex more than one time, so whe don't know if it was in a few days/weeks or months, but definitely wasn't a one day thing.

That was definitely my interpretation. There's a significant jump in time somewhere in the story after their first night together, so the scene where they decide to get more serious is several weeks or months after they first had sex.

Edit: and a note about the sequel. We're definitely going to release it, but it's only a few pages long extra, so don't everyone don't get your hopes up too much.

that's literally the most instinctual thing ever, they literally fell in love based on sex it doesn't get any more animalistic than that (not a bad thing) they forgo each others superficial traits like personality or virtues(in the beginning) and based their love on literal body compatibility, gotta wonder thats probably how humans mated and paired off with one another because simians also have a some a what monogamous behaviour (birds too), lmao i dont know where im going with this but shit man thats kinda deep in its own way ngl.

I think most people can tell you from personal experience that good sex does not equal a good partnership.

I guess if you're going to be stuck in a horrible relationship, good sex would be preferable to bad sex.

I've never been interested in listening to a radio drama based off a manga before, but now I want to listen to this one.

Especially when they hired two VA for make the boobs sound effects.

Exactly.

I read that completely differently—that Sana was assuming Ayane-Unaware-That-Hamburger-Steak-Can-Be-Made-At-Home-And-Doesn’t-Have-A-Cellphone,-etc.-chan would be useless in the workaday world, so Sana would need to be the one with the job.

Sana is assuming that she'd have to support the two of them because right now Ayane is useless. She apparently quit school to mope full-time after her break-up, and that was over a year ago. No indication that she is working or has to work, or that she has any issues with money, but even with nothing else to spend her time on, she's so incapable of taking care of herself that she's been hospitalized multiple times due to poor health.

Maybe that's just a temporary depression that she'll come out of. But Ayane has been like this the entire time Sana has known her, so I think Sana's assumption is pretty reasonable.

I was wondering if Ai might one day be disillusioned when she discovers that Mitsuka isn't the pure-hearted angel she imagines her to be. But it seems more likely that Ai will always think of Mitsuka as an angel regardless of how much evidence she witnesses to the contrary.

AAAAAAAAAAA@AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH-H GODDAMIT. Though I"m glad they didn't do it while the others were there, that stuff gives me anxiety smh

If you don't want your friends to have sex in front of you, you shouldn't walk into their room uninvited.

I am not a big fan of Kyo, thogh. She literally heard "I love XX so much, I just want them to be truely happy, even if that's not with me" and she still runs her ego-trip. I get where she's coming from, but that chapter was from her POV and I was missing a certain kind of self-reflection on her side there :|
Kinda a Judgment of Solomon vibe...

Agreed. She's clearly experiencing a lot of pain, but if she cared enough to think about it, she'd pretty quickly realize that her initial impression of Nika was incorrect. But it doesn't benefit her to accept that Nika might actually genuinely love Kurumi, so she's just unwilling to even consider it.

It's difficult for authors to depict a heterosexual relationship without at least one man.

Yes, but I read yuri manga for the yuri relationships.

I was making a joke. It's unlikely that this manga could turn towards a heterosexual romance because there are no men currently in existence.

I don't doubt it. I've just never heard of it. I guess we just never had that trouble before. Which is weird, because we have terrible ant problems, they just leave our sugar alone.

That was totally my reaction upon seeing that page too: "Who the fuck keeps their sugar in their refrigerator?" I guess I've just never had ant problems.

Bringing uninvited friends along to someone's house... kinda shitty to do. I'm glad it went okay, but like, idk why we're complaining about Ayane of all people here, this chapter she was perfectly fine and told Sana anything she thought she might want to know.

Yeah, Sana won the "who wants to be shitty" contest this episode. I mean, it's understandable why she brought her friends (and also ended being really kind of funny), but still, that was Not A Nice Thing To Do.

New chapter up elsewhere: apparently, as predicted by schuyguy, terminal case of heartbreak, no particular sign of extreme social isolation, except perhaps voluntarily.

Also, I don't think I'd call my predictions confirmed, since the situation is largely unchanged from the previous chapter. Though slightly less mysterious than before, Ayane's past and her family situation are still largely unknown. It really only confirmed that she doesn't live with her parents and she used to have a girlfriend.

I think there's another shoe waiting to drop at some point. What's the deal with her parents? What's the full deal with her ex? She got cut off before explaining why they broke up. But Ayane certainly is a little bit isolated and awkward. It's unclear if she's always been like that or if it's her way of dealing with recent events.

I'm pretty sure I'm right. I mean, I know it's not confirmed yet but all the clues are pointing in that direction. We'll get the confirmation soon enough.

I guess we'll see. I agree with to the extent that I think Ayane's awkwardness is part of what's going on, but all the signs seem to me to point to some deeper issue she has that's going to be part of a major reveal sooner or later.

It's not an interpretation. Suu literally says she's on her own, and also that she doesn't go to school very often. Family and school are the two main sources of interpersonal interaction for a teenager, so it's pretty much a given she doesn't deal with others very often. That's a logical conclusion from what we know about her, not an interpretation.

You're still making a lot of assumptions based off very little information. She stopped going to school at some point, but she might have had a perfectly normal school life until recently. Her parents aren't around, but that also might be a recent development.

And your conclusion goes against other evidence. Ayane is dismissive of Suu, but Suu clearly thinks of her as a friend. Suu even knew to call Sana to let her know Ayane was in the hospital, which means that Ayane talks to her and tells her about her life. Plus, there's the fact that Ayane has had a girlfriend before. Ayane isn't some socially inept isolated shut-in.

Maybe you're right, and what's going on with Ayane is that she's not used to being around people, but for all we know she had a lot of friends in school and a normal family life and things only changed recently.

ok why does Kawai Rou's work never get completed

In this case at least, you can blame Kawai Roh. I don't think she ever produced any more of this series.

I think you all are missing the point. Ayane's strange behavior and attitude has nothing to do with her status as "mysterious" character. She just doesn't know how to deal with people. And the reason for that is simply because she lives on her own.

https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/her_kiss_infectious_lust_ch06#19

We don't know the details. For all we know her parents are dead. What we do know is that she lives alone and is not a recent thing. She probably has been on her own for years, so it's natural she doesn't know how to properly interact with others. Rather than being a mysterious character, she's more like a huge dork who doesn't know how to deal with others. She tries to look cool for Sana but fails miserably at it, and then she sulks like an immature little girl, because that's exactly what she really is.

Heck, even her "seductive" behavior with Micchan was probably just a massively awkward way to make friends with her rather than any actual seduction. She just doesn't know how to properly make friends. She doesn't have any after all.

This is why I like Ayane's character. This isn't just about her and Sana being a cute couple (and they are cute, don't get me wrong). This is also about Ayane learning how to interact with others. And in the latest chapters she's starting to become a little more social than she was at the beginning.

Your interpretation, that she's been alone for years and simply doesn't know how to interact with others, is just a guess. There's not really enough information available for us to come to that conclusion. I agree with you that she probably lives on her own, but we don't know that for certain, or when that started. With Suu-chan in the picture, it's clear that Ayane has some friends or acquaintances, even if she keeps them at a distance, so it's not like she's been in isolation her whole life.

From the beginning, the author has been revealing only hints of Ayane's life. She was in the hospital, but she never told Sana why. We have no idea what her family situation is like, except that her parents don't do things that we'd normally expect parents to do. She apparently doesn't go to school, but we learned that through sheer coincidence. She hasn't even given Sana her phone number or told her where she lives, and they've been dating for months now (at least half a year, judging by the changing seasons). Sana has no way to contact her, and that's been an issue in the story several times now. That's inherently suspicious, and doesn't really make a lot of sense if you think about it. In all this time they've never once discussed Ayane's personal life?

Basically, it feels like the author, either carelessly or deliberately, has created a state of affairs where Sana has an unbelievably low amount of information about someone she's known intimately for half a year, all for the sake of keeping us in the dark about Ayane's personal life.

I hope not, because that would sad for Sacchan, who's a little cutie pie (although Micchan would no doubt feel vindicated).

That is the problem endemic to the "woman of mystery" trope, though--the answers when revealed tend to shade toward either "weird, implausible, and melodramatic" or "no big deal, so why did we even bother?"

Or she can just keep pulling things along the lines of "I never use chewing gum" or "What is this thing you call 'television'?" randomly out of her ass.

Agreed. Especially when a mystery is dragged out this long, it becomes more and more untenable.

Being real now, time-traveling cyborg is slightly unlikely. She's probably got a terminal case of heartbreak or dead girlfriend-itis or something. And presumably her parents don't give a shit either, or they'd have noticed she stopped going to school.

I think the "I hate Christmas" act was perhaps a strategic error.

Yeah, as characterization Ayane’s “woman of mystery/I’m different from you normal humans” facade is wearing a little thin on me, I think because it keeps putting Sacchan in reactive mode.

I don’t object to the trope as such, but it’s designed to make us wonder what’s underneath it. We know that underneath it is a cute girl who likes Sacchan, but I’d like to see a little more of who Ayane actually is and where her affect comes from.

I think she's going to be revealed as an ancient vampire longing for death or maybe a time-traveling cyborg any chapter now.

Glad to see this getting a good reception, it's my first translation! Please let me know if there's more I should be doing (I'm not a very good cleaner unfortunately) cos this is a one-person show.

I'll try and get a chapter up a week - most chapters past this point are less than 10 pages, so it shouldn't be too difficult. I am using this to study though so it might be a bit delayed.

Hey, I've noticed some minor errors in your translation. Would you like me to post or message you some corrections?

Sure, is discord ok? As long as you can teach me how to interpret the jpn properly : )

Sure. I'll do my best, I'm still learning too.
