Oh man, I feel so conflicted. It clearly is trying to portray this as positive as possible, but god damn it that lady raped a young girl who had no idea what was going on. Try to rationalize it however you want, but that was rape

I wouldn't say as positive as possible. Jinno-san looks terrified on the last page.

My personal opinion is that Touma is obviously attractive and cool looking. I hope she realizes she's emotionally hurting these girls before it's too late.

The hug from behind lowered the cuteness quite a bit. Art isn't masterful but doesn't bother me.

or mybe madoka is the most yuri one here,

I get the feeling madoka chose to become mado kami was solely for homura's sake.
since madoka literally said, "Ive found my true wish now, don't worry I won't let u down homura". see, she simply didn't want to let down her friend who's been suffering for her sake at that timeline. we gotta remember there was another timeline where madoka literally became magical girl just cuz of dead cat. such an extremely shallow motivation, as expected from her lol

if madoka truly wanted the best for homura. why wouldn't she erase her existence completely from her? she's god, Im fairly certain brainwashing ppl wouldn't have been much of a big deal at all for her.
not only that, she also gave her red ribbon to her. for wut purpose? she legit didn't have any gut to let homura go.
if she truly saw all of those timelines homura's been through, she should've known homura nature, she should've known how insane n possessive homura really is, she should've known homura is a type of person who doesn't know how to give up.
wut an irresponsible act imo, as if she subconsciously doesn't want homura to give up or move on.

The morality in Madoka, like in all of Urobochi's works that I've seen, is very very nuanced, and also subjective. I think Madoka did everything she did because she thought it was the right thing to do, either not knowing what Homura would eventually become, or knowing it and still believing it would lead to the best outcome overall. Whether she or not she made the right decision with her wish, and what exactly motivates her after making it, are up for the viewer to decide for themselves.

Although I have to admit, in her human form she comes off as someone who might be gay. Just the overall vibe I got.

This is a cute development, but I already feel bad for Kamome. Seems like she might have lost the love triangle before it even began and she's easily as cute as Lily is.

well, since gen urobuchi the author of psycho pass, he's also the one who brought puella magi madoka magica upon us. n it's known worldwide that one of char akuma homura is kinda yuri, so gen urobuchi is definitely on our side. it's just fyi btw, I hope u don't mind lol
ps. fate illya is also one of his works, even tho it ain't as yuri as puella

Homura's lesbianism is a bit complicated. Urobochi has said that her love grew not from sexual attraction, but from Madoka being the the driving force of her life for so long. That doesn't mean that she DOESN'T want a romantic relationship deep down though, it's just not clear.

I won't get into whether it's "bait" or not, because we have no way of knowing what was originally intended. But I have to say I'm honestly shocked with how the protagonists subtexty relationship was handled. At the least, it shows that the author isn't letting the characters dictate the direction of the story. At the worst, it comes across as homophobic if what I'm reading here is true.

I'm looking for a yuri manga with a very shonen art style. I dont have a plot but I'm more of looking at the style so I can study it ':D

Even if it's not what your thinking of it's still worth getting out there.

Ayane-sama delivering the goods as usual, I can't wait until the new Mami x Office Lady doujinshi is translated as well (although the translation here was way off)

What do you mean when you say the translation was off? Are you referring to the original The Christmas Witch oneshot?

I don't know about the accuracy of the translation, but a lot of the dialogue didn't flow well from one speech bubble to the next.

This so freaking depressing when you think of their future.

I mean, in almost all fiction it's a given the characters will eventually die and have to deal with loved ones growing old and dying.

Aside from the beautiful full color art, I like that this doujin shows a pretty solid understanding of the themes of the movie.

To everyone who's confused as to what Mikage was doing in reality, I'm 99% sure she was opening her mouth and bending her fingers like a wolf. To Hinata, she looked like an actual wolf about to eat her.

This was a very entertaining chapter. In spite of all the ridiculous stuff going on, the only part that strains my suspension of disbelief is the supposedly reasonable father continually allowing this person near his daughter.

so you didn't read the other comments below they said its alright not to like it. its just people are calling citrus not a real Yuri because its not just cute girls being cute and have no baggage, by being pure by being dense as a box of rocks about love. Pure as in hand holding and never going further like women have no desire like....you know dirty stuff.

I am completely at a loss of what you are even trying to remotely get at.

They're saying it's frustrating when people put down a yuri manga for including sexual themes.

Lol that's some advanced psychology analysis, I can't really follow.

Also I'm not saying a character falling in love should be with someone with only good characteristics. Of course the bad ones make the relationship way more interesting. And I'm fan of these type of characters my self. But in Mei's situation, that's not the case imo. She is just too stiff and rarely shows any emotion.
And the fact that this is a manga doesn't excuse it for not making sense, because there are plenty of mangas that have characters who feel real and interesting.
I'm not saying Citrus is that bad, nor Mei. But to me she belongs in the same category of mcs that the girl likes because the author said so. It makes Yuzu look like a doormat in some cases.
Also the latest chapter was a bit let down. Nothing happened and there was a two month gap between the chapters. Im not trying to flame, but i think the author could have come up with something better than this. Seems like the problem will externally get solved somehow again.

I'll give you the short version. Yuzu was attracted to Mei because she's extremely pretty. She then got irreversibly attached to her after many months of dating. Such is life for a young person.

At this point, I don't actually remember the ending of the manga, but I do specifically recall being very surprised that the last chapter I read was, well, the last chapter

https://dynasty-scans.com/series/a_divine_love_alone

That's one where it's hard to say whether it was just rushed or the author was going for a more avant-garde kind of thing with the ending.

Gamma. Could have been an absolute masterpiece of a manga, but a good third or even half of the story got skimmed over. The result is a travesty of an ending.

I didn't think the ending was that bad. Sure, it was obviously rushed, but an attempt was made to resolve all the subplots and bring the story to a proper conclusion. Compared to the ones I listed, I feel Gamma was ended with relative grace.

You're right that it wasn't too bad really. I meant more that it could have been near perfect from top to bottom, and it ended up with a weak final part, which to me was super disappointing.
