Predictable. I can't find myself looking forward to updates anymore because the unexpected has stopped. Oh well, we knew team blonde just needed time.
Thanks alright I'll just wait to see what happens but I'm definitely disappointed
it's pretty obvious that Sungi x Sumin will be the end couple. especially, after the artist made it look like Seju never have the chance to turn things around in her favor. the only scenario that will probably blow the mind of every readers, is if Seju x Sungji happen LOL that will be the most WTF moment.
it's like I've predicted. well, it's only appropriate that they made a chapter about Sumin and Sungji making up and have make-up sex. but I'd rather spent my 3 coins on other manhwa on lezhin. it must be nice to be a Sumin x Sungji shipper LOL I wonder when will Seju make another appearance. it seems like she only appears when the author remembers that she exist on her creation/story xD

Sumin is just the lesser between two evils. though, I believe Sumin was more cold-hearted than Seju. at least on Seju's case, she didn't exactly toyed with Sumin's heart. she cheated but she tried to make it up to Sumin for 10 years.
besides, isn't it contradicting that Sumin wants to stay away from Seju and start a relationship with another woman. but she didn't. instead, she still work on Seju's company and slept with her while fooling around with different women, knowingly that Seju would be hurt by it. I would have believed that Sumin wants to move on with her life, if it didn't took 10 years for her to realized it. technically speaking, when she met Sungj. another contradiction to the story is that, Sumin's admittance that she still love Seju, should have confused her on who she should choose. but after admitting it. she's more sure than ever that Sungji is the one for her. it doesn't make sense.
and I don't know why they keep delaying another encounter between Seju, Sumin and Sungji. cause imo, there's nothing more to explore between Sumin and Sungji's relationship. but I think the next chapter will be full of fluff moments. I was kinda hoping WDTFS will be a dark, mature romance manhwa. but there's more lighthearted moments on this than Fluttering Feelings.

Seol-a and No-Rae are not straight lol.
I can see how it's slow paced and not everyone's cup of tea but there's difference between being straight and just discovering not being one.
well, it's debatable and subjective lol I assume they were straight because they never had a gay relationship with anyone before and only dated men. besides, they are only interested in each other. I never saw them checking out other girls.
back on WDTFS, the more the artist add filler chapters, the more it hurts the characters. imo, Nami and Seju are the most well-written characters on this manhwa and yet, they rarely appear. and you gotta question the action of the characters after the fallout of the second arc, 1) Why didn't Sungji leave the company after finding out that her girlfriend and her boss were being intimate with each other? 2) How come Sumin and Seju can talk casually with each other, like nothing happened? it should had been awkward between the two of them after Sumin's confession lol 3) Why did Seju stop being aggressive? she should have confronted Sumin after that.
Dawoon is that bestfriend character that has unrequited love for the MC, much like Nami. I was kinda hoping she would be use to make Sungji look more relatable by narrating how was Sungji, when she was young? or how come she was never interested with anyone before? but I guess she's another filler side-character in a filler chapter, even though they provided a sort of background story for her. well, I hope the next chapter will be a continuation not another Sumin and Sungji strolling around while the author couldn't make it more clearer that they miss each other. the last chapter was kinda creepy with Sumin just appearing everywhere Dawoon and Sungji went lol

Love Doctor imo is trying too hard to become the new FF. It feels like they have copied a lot stuff from FF, but at the same time I don't get the same feelings like I did in FF. It's just missing this x factor that made FF interesting to read and real.
LMAO!!! I almost died laughing there!
Love Doctor trying to be FF? Hahaha my sides hurt.
It's actually the opposite. I think FF is one without any feeling in it. I heard fangirls defending its unnecessary dragging saying 'oh they are trying to find their sexuality' but so far nothing even suggest that. It is so shallow and without any actual feelings that it feel so fictional and unnreal.
So far i can say FF is one of the most boring and unnecessarily stretched yuri mahwa i ever read.
let's just say FF is a yuri bait manhwa in an actual yuri manhwa lol it's just really slow-pace since both of the MC's are straight but as the story progress, they start to develop and slowly realize their attraction and feelings for each other. what I just don't really like FF is it's incessant teasing of love confession or kissing moment, which is also FF's main appeal. so, if it's not your cup of tea, then, you're not really going to like it lol
love doctor has the same vibe of FF because of the MC's but the comparison stops there. I actually feel love doctor is a mashup of FF and WDTFS lol
tbh, I didn't really like the way they handle the Sungji x Sumin x Seju. I don't get why the hell, they made Sumin realized her love for Seju, just so, they would go back to their old routine lol it's like they have taken one step forward but two steps back.
the plot twist of Nami being in love with Sumin was just "WTF?! Really?" o_O didn't see it coming cause everyone thought Nami was in love with Seju lol so, I guess, I was kinda right when I said that Nami was worried for Sumin, when she first saw Seju together with her, cause she had this grim look on her face.
right now, it feels like WDTFS has two storyline, they have a love story going with Sungji and Sumin and then they have a family drama-suspense thriller with Seju lol (since, she's completely out of the picture) it's like a two completely different comic book but in the same universe lol like Avengers or Justice League. let's be honest, even though. they keep making Seju look like a real threat between Sumin and Sungji on the first and second arc, the third act just makes it's clear that Sumin doesn't want to be with her which only makes Seju look more hopeless than before, which imo supposed to be other way around because of how the story was progressing. so, it's pretty obvious that Sumiin and Sungji will be the end couple. although, they could still pull a swerved and make other possible end pairings.

Team Gaji just like overcomplicating their story even though their platform can't handle too much characters lol imo, they should focus more on their three main character and develop them. but nope, they always keep Seju out of the picture. it's a love triangle not a highschool romance love story between Sungji and Sumin. but I guess it's only on the promotional poster.
I think the story would have been more simple, if Sumin was the one still madly in love with Seju and not the way around. so, Sungji will have a hard time chasing Sumin for her love. at this point, the flow of the story just doesn't make sense to me. Sungji realized that her love for Sumin wasn't that deep as she thought it was. even though, she always reiterate that she was her first love. so, unlike Sumin and Seju. first love cuts the deepest doesn't apply to her. imo, WDTFS flaw is really Sungji, as the protagonist, she is really apathetic and there's little reason on why I should support Sungji x Sumin other than they look good together during their intimate scenes LOL their love story just has no motivation while I don't like Sumin for Seju anymore. if I was Sumin, I would have forgiven Seju at this point. 10 long years have passed and she still hate Seju for it. okay, she still has feelings for Seju but imo, that's just a ruse by the author to fool the readers that WDTFS is a love triangle webtoon. when Sumin got angry and jealous with the rumors that Seju had slept with Nami. the story was briefly getting interesting and leading more to a love triangle story. but after that, Sumin goes directly back to Sungji like the whole thing with Seju never happened. and then leading to the end of the previous arc. Seju goes full mode on the antagonist role but after that. it's back to Sumin and Sungji and less Seju again. so, I guess the love triangle will be more with Dawoon x Sungji x Sumin. cause even though Sumin has feelings for Seju, she doesn't want to be with her anymore. which imo doesn't make sense lol cause they bait us with the whole jealous thing.
I love WDTFS but I think the Seju x Sumin baiting is getting old. if Seju and Sumin are not going to end up together. please, just stop this charade already. first of all, I don't buy Sungji's break up woes cause even on times of distressed. she's as flat as it gets. Seju's interference felt like it was only a plot device to "deepen" Sumin and Sungji's relationship (than progress the story) which imo doesn't do anything to justify, why they should be the end couple. all their flashbacks only involves them flirting and flirting and flirting. . . . . . it only proves how shallow their relationship was, imo this is also like a cheap tactic by the author to insert "mushy" Sumin and Sungji scenes to please their shippers. I get the reason on why their pandering to them but how many times will do this? it's like every chapter we have this. I also found it funny that Sumin is more devastated than Sungji. when it supposed to be the other way around.
tbh, I'm kinda wishing to end this webtoon already. just to see the conclusion of Seju's story since the ambiguity of the ending of this webtoon is already down the drain. I have no doubt in my mind that Team Gaji will not take the risk of disappointing their loyal Sumin and Sungji shippers. so, there goes that "elusive" ending.
the artist finally added POV scenes to Sungji, which they should have added since from the beginning. this webtoon somehow confuses me with it's lack of continuity and inconsistency. Seju, Sumin and Sungji had a heated encounter but then, it's like nothing happened. okay, Sumin and Sungji broke up but didn't Sungji said that "this time will be different" and I can't help but laughed my a$$ off on how Seju just randomly appear throughout this webtoon series. even though she's an integral part of the story.
Dawoon's addition to the cast of characters might help Sungji to have a more solid background story. so, I hope they explore their past more on the next chapters. now, they can focus on Seju x Sumin and Dawoon x Sungji which would be a fresh thing to see. but I think they will pull out the "absence makes the heart grow fonder" angle on Sumin x Sungji and imo, it's time already for Seju and Sumin to settle their love/hate relationship once and for all.

once again Seju's adversaries overshadowed Sungji's supposedly heartbreak story. this is the reason why I find Sungji's character weak, in terms of backstory and character development.
I was kinda shocked that Seju's father knows that she is a lesbian lol and he even asked Sumin to stay with Seju and go live happily ever after with her in America. the mole guy is creepy af, he somehow have this obsession to Seju. he might not be Seju's real father but there's a possibility that he like Seju's mother or had an affair with her, whatever it was, it's causing him to be overprotective to Seju that he even beaten up Sumin for breaking up with his sister.
@MacySan
I'm kinda thinking that they should had made Seju antagonistic first. before, showing how she ended up being the villain of the story than making her likeable at the start then, turning her evil/bad in the end. it felt like they're trying to destroy something good they've developed for Seju's character.
this is just my opinion but Seju feels like, she should had been the protagonist of the story lol I mean she have more obstacle to overcome than Sumin and Sungji. Seju is being constantly rejected her by family and Sumin is the only person who really showed affection towards her (other than her father) she may have cheated on Sumin but she didn't give up on her. she stayed by her side for 10 years even though she knew Sumin only kept her by her side to intentionally hurt her by dating other girls. for me, Sungji is just a pretty girl who's finally learning what love is, for the first time. other than that, she doesn't really have any more story to tell.

imo, the artist made Seju likeable or made the readers care for her. I mean she might have slept with the bartender but she didn't really had an affair with that guy. (though I'm not saying it's still right) add to the fact that her family is rejecting her. it didn't really help either that Sumin was intentionally hurting and using her for 10 years just to get her revenge on her. it made Seju look like a victim and now, they're finally making her the antagonist.I was kinda hoping they won't go into that direction. but, I guess it can't be help. someone needs to be the villain of the story.

True. Not only Seju x Sumin is strong, but at the same time we don't get enough material to be easier to connect with Sungji. At least, of course, for me. Because I know there are a lot of Sungji lovers out there. i don't dislike her, I just don't find something in her that captivates me like Seju
you know what, we're already on chapter 56 and I still can't figure out what kind of personality does Sungji have lol
like her character and personality is all over the place. her lack of backstory, perspective/insights to events makes her mysterious but at the same time. it's really hard to relate or connect with her. it feel's like she only exist in the story to go between Sumin and Seju. not to mention that she's almost too perfect that there's no room for her character to grow or develop in the story.

this chapter made me wish that WDFTS story started with Seju x Sumin than the original timeline. those flashback are just cruel and brutal lol. those romantic moments of them make me feel like they really are meant for each other but dun, dun, dun the reality is, not every relationship have a fairy tale ending especially on a yuri material. imo, Seju and Sumin have more chemistry and their story is more consistent and properly build up. but that's just opinion. and I'll probably miss Seju's long hair.
expectation on the next chapter. I hope the artist will add POV scenes of Sungji cause she feels like a secondary character. it will be easier to connect with her, if they will add POV scenes of her because since from the start, it look like every WDTFS reader are making assumptions/guessing on what she's thinking rather than relating to her. especially now that she's heartbroken. it will be the perfect time to add dimensions to her character.
Sungji still doesn't know that Sumin still love Seju. I guess that would be the most heartbreaking situation for Sungji. yeah, Sumin must have chosen her but the fact still remained that Sumin still have feelings for Seju.
imo. all the characters look bad xD. Sumin and Seju somewhat reverse their role on this chapter while Sungji is the most understanding and forgiving character I'd ever saw. all of them doesn't have any self-respect.
the chapter lacks intensity. it somehow falls flat. I actually don't get the twist. it only made Sungji look more of a saint. "oh yeah my boss and my gf usually f*** in here but I don't give two sh*** about it cause I love her" I guess Sungji is not that afraid to get her feelings hurt even though Sumin is her first love. it all felt wrong. everything about Seju and Sungji's relationship with Sumin feels wrong after this chapter.
this time it's not going to be 10 year cycle of waiting cause Sungji will forgive Sumin that easily and it will make Sumin realize how wrong she was when she hold a grudge to Seju. of course. the healing and forgiving scenario won't happen without some tragedy happening xD (hopefully they won't go with the cliche finale)

I thought we already expected the cheating scenario since Sungji left her ring at Seju's house. what I didn't expected was that Sungji knew about Seju and Sumin all along and Seju going to the stereotype love triangle antagonist character. but seriously, WTH?! SUNGJI!!! you're girlfriend just cheated on you and your calm af.
most readers hate this chapter because first, Seju finally transform to what an antagonist character is intended to be and second, Sungji being cool with Seju and Sumin's past xD I'm actually not that surprise with Seju's action. I mean she did ruin Sumin's relationship with the red-haired girl because she saw an opportunity to do so. even Nami confronted Seju about it. but I was hoping and expecting that Seju will be neutral character like she didn't plan the whole cheating scenario and Sungji just accidentally find them having sex.
I hate this chapter for reasons that it lack emotion especially Sungji and Sumin's confrontation because it turns out. there's no more secret to spill. it's totally ruined. it could have been a dramatic scenario. the only thing I got from this chapter is that both Sungji and Seju are blindly in love with Sumin.

I don't think Seju had it easy with her life. just because she's rich. it doesn't mean she had a better life than Sumin and Sungji. almost all of her siblings think she's an outsider in their family. the rejection and the feeling of being an outcast in your family would be tough for anyone to handle.
Sumin deserve a happy ending also but she does deserve some sort of karma. I know Seju was wrong for cheating but Sumin using and purposely hurting her for 10 years imo seems to weigh more. but I agree that Sumin breaking ties with Seju is the only way for all of them to move on. if only Sumin had done this since they broke up. I believe Seju could have move on by now. but nope, Sumin had chosen to stay by Seju's side just to intentionally hurt her. she literally played and toyed with Seju's feeling even though she know she's already struggling with her family.
wow, I can't believe a lot of Seju fans now want a tragic ending for Seju just to make Sumin suffer for it xD. that would be somewhat bittersweet. nobody was healed in the end. more like they will be scarred for life. I would like it much better if Sumin/Sungji need a transplant or something because of an accident or illness and Seju would happily sacrifice her life to donate whatever organ is needed. (thanks to Seju x Sumin. I can't stop listening to "just a dream" xD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsj_3c8mA3M) I'll probably remember Seju x Sumin more than Sungji x Sumin pairing after WDTFS. I like Sungji more before but I guess I connected more with Seju cause I can feel her struggle out of the three main characters.
last edited at May 27, 2016 2:43AM
finally, Sumin confessed that she still love Seju though she's kinda apathetic about the whole thing. yeah, the cheating theory imo is the where the story will go. it's the only way Sumin can understand what Seju had gone through. but WTH she will leave Seju when she needed her the most. well, I want Seju to move on from Sumin to stop this madness. goddamn Seju you're more than just a rebound girl for Sumin every time she needed it conveniently. hope, you wake up already xD

I didn't say Seju never cared about Sumin's dating life, I said she, for this whole 10 years, had pretended that she didn't mind it.
what? Seju didn't pretended that she didn't care. remember Sumin saw her stalking her and that red-haired girl? like I said before. Seju knows her place. she doesn't intervene and confront any girl that Sumin is currently dating because they're just merely "friends with benefits". even Sumin acknowledges that she's intentionally hurting Seju every time she date another girl.
The Seju who can be angry, who doesn't smile a lot, who can't be friendly with Sumin's women, who doesn't want anyone to date Sumin is her real self. In this chapter, she showed the real her to Sungji who she
thought that she (Sungji) knew nothing. What's the point?
what do you mean by what's the point? of course anyone can be angry, Seju doesn't pretend that she's smiling. does she really need to be rude to other people? that's called being mature and trying to get along with other people/co-worker. Seju needed to be casually friendly with Sungji because she's her employee. and Sungji is Sumin first girlfriend who have direct relation to Seju cause the three of them are working in the same company. Seju doesn't need to be friendly to Sumin's other ex because they don't really know each other.
I do understand her real intention. However, we can't deny the fact that this method of hers is morally wrong.
what's morally wrong about it? it's not like she's acting upon her thoughts/intentions. all this time she's letting Sumin to do whatever she want while she's waiting for who knows how long it will take for both of them to reconcile with each other.

I think you're wrong with the assumption that Seju never really cared about Sumin's dating life. remember the red-haired girl? Seju might have been the one who told her fiance about her secret affair with Sumin. besides, it's not like they're still together. Seju knows her place. she knows that she doesn't have any right to be jealous and confront Sumin about it.
Seju never fake her attitude towards Sungji especially on the last chapter. that's the real Seju. of course she acts friendly towards her employee out of professionalism. but you see, she was sick and out of all the people who gave her a helping hand. it's the girl who is slowly taking away the only person she think ever loved her. imo that's a realistic reaction/scenario towards a situation like that.
and on the chapter when Seju encourages Sungji to be with Sumin. I think by now. we already know why Seju is doing it. the only time Sumin ever spend time with her is when she's having trouble with her current relationship. that's how they bond aside from sex. they confide and comfort each other. (though Sumin is starting to be a jerk) Seju also have this mentality that Sumin always goes into a relationship that would never work. I guess she was getting too confident with Sungji. that the same thing will happen again if ever Sumin and Sungji hookup. and lastly, Seju wanted Sumin to be rejected again and again so, that in the end. she might realized that she's the only one who will ever truly love her.
last edited at May 20, 2016 2:50AM
IMO Sungji might already know that there is something going on between Seju and Sumin. and I think that's the reason why Sungji is not pushing Sumin to open up to her. somehow I'm understanding Sungji now. her action sometimes made her look like she's clueless. but in truth. she's getting the subtle hints since the beginning. Sungji just doesn't really care about Sumin's past. I guess as long as Sumin is faithful to her and it doesn't affect their relationship.
Sungji is very observant. Seju-Sumin sharing the same perfume, she asked Sumin if she want to tell her something knowing that Sumin didn't go to work after the scandal was made public.
last edited at May 20, 2016 1:38AM
won't anyone question on how come Sumin want to retire/resign suddenly after that self-reflecting chapter about her feelings for Seju? she was confuse and contemplating and then the next "screw that I'm out of here" what's with the build-up over that?
I thought Team Gaji intentionally let Sungji to left her ring at Seju's place. setting up the scenario where Sungji will find out about the two of them. though, Sungji having this calculating side is really a great twist to her character. well, we have already seen this before. when Sungji lied that she need to go to the hospital just so, she could see Sumin. come to think of it. Team Gaji not adding POV panel to Sungji made her look innocent. even though all this time she might have been calculating every move she's making xD Brilliant!!!

Thanks Newp for the translation :)
I kinda like this chapter. thanks to the Seju x Sungji interaction. it's refreshing to see these two together for the majority of the panel pages. I didn't hate that Sungji was the one who had taken care of Seju. though it's obvious/predictable where things will go from here. Sungji character as the perfect girl is already established. nothing will change this. but I wonder what will be her reaction when she find out about Seju and Sumin's relationship. it's not like Sumin is cheating on Sungji so, I think Sungji will find it the hard way. possibly seeing them on a heated kiss or whatever. maybe, Team Gaji could then add some POV or more raw emotion from Sungji.
I can't help but notice that the glass-wearing girl got POV panel while Sungji and Seju didn't get anything :D I mean Sungji didn't even wonder why the usually friendly president suddenly act cold towards her. though, this chapter made me want a Sungji x Seju angle.
Seju always ended up being a protagonist of the discussion here even when the story presented pretty slightly about her. I would say whoever you are, if you stayed in this forum a bit longer, you would end up being Seju lover or, at least, Seju empathizer. It's not the same case elsewhere, I think.
imo, Sungi x Sumin shippers want the fluff and fan service while Seju x Sumin fans like this pairing because of their story.
I'm not downplaying Sungji. but honestly what did she do to gain Sumin's trust other than her being the perfect, innocent girl? that's the only thing that makes her different from Sumin's past lover. nothing really comes into my mind. (I know she gave her "virginity" to Sumin but is that it?)
