the girl was driven to slavery by her guilt. damn, i cant even imagine her guilt. meiko was in crutches when she went home, and when she's in her most fragile state, reo cant escort her home and to top it all, she didnt escort meiko because of a boy's confession, its her first so she was pretty happy, but she felt VERY GUILTY because meiko got raped thanks to her being alone and fragile(and fabulous), and reo could only drown in her sorrow because before it all happened meiko was an optimistic girl, but now she lost her virginity to some old dude, a rapist at that and...well, i can still understand meiko. and i agree, i rather see either of them snap and try to win the other back, winning meiko as in making her see the wrongs in her ways.

If Meiko wins this manga is shit, you know what would be MUCH better writing overall and send a better message? Meiko loses her "slave" because she was supporting a relationship that was unstable, manipulative and with a warped power balance and Reo and Glasses-Chan get together in a nice supportive and healthy relationship causing Meiko to actually reflect on what a horrible person she has been, in the end Meiko never wins Reo back but maybe the two meet again in the future and are still at the very least friends when Meiko has bettered herself.

the possibility of that happening is close to zero, tbh. meiko probably gonna make andou's life a living hell, and then, possibly, maybe, idk, reo gonna snap and well, try to slap some sense into meiko and idk how it'll turn out, but andou probably doesn't have a very significant role here, but still, idk. but i still think andou's winning possibility is still very low.

i love these kinds of manga tbh. from all the posts I've seen in this discussion, not many people likes meiko. if you ask me, i like her character. can you imagine getting stereotyped by people because she's born fabulous? having to endure all the bitch talk behind her back, getting molested verbally and...umm...physically. i gasped so hard when i saw her getting pinned by an old dude. i understand how people is pissed about her manipulating reo, but...i also can understand why she became like that. in some point, you'll snap and be a bitch, i too have experienced that(in this case im the meiko), and it can be a serious mental torture.
....i also have a masochist heart so....i love angst. and jealous events are my fav, and judging from the storyline, meiko's behaviour, and andou-san or whatever her name is, there will be lots of it and im looking forward to it. go team meiko! i want to see how reo gonna make this straight again.

i like mana to have a good ending with shouko but shouko is too much of a insensitive jerk. because in the manga shouko doesn't show any deep feeling towards mana and...god. can you imagine, finally confiding to someone else, knowing you have trust issues and suddenly said someone else quickly abandones you to go after her eye doctor? if i may say, shittiest character development, in my opinion.
shouko is a total false hope giver, especially when she blushed when they performed. dunno why, dunno how, i actually caught a glimpse of hope in my heart, until she freakin jumps into director's arms. i regret reading this, because im gonna get all emo mode. well, should've known from the tag but still, shouko is an ahouko. hands down, mana is best grill

so, i already played the PSP Saki.
my first thought was: "meh. its just a repeat of the anime"
the mahjong is fun tho(i have to play in easy mode because im still THAT terrible)
and then... the bonus story. NODOSAKI CONFIRMED. I REPEAT, NODOSAKI CONFIRMED. at the start of the summer, nodoka(shyly) asked if saki wants to do "homework" together, and saki being the cute and nice protag she is, she said yes. buchou, mako, and yuuki heard their conversation and decided to cockblock nodoka.

they decided to go to nodoka's house, because nodoka (again, shyly) said that her father wont be home and saki can come over and saki, oblivious af to nodoka's...ahem hidden motives, said yes excitedly.
they were in nodoka's room and SUDDENLY BUCHOU AND YUUKI AND MAKO APPEARED(i was seriously pissed) and ask nodoka for a mahjong match. after nodoka won, they jokingly said to nodoka "take it easy!" and she literally almost explode from embarrassment. they went home.
Saki and nodoka were just about to start on their homework BUT SUDDENLY THREE WILD TSURUGA MEMBERS APPEARED. yumi, momo and kaori. goddammit, nodoka thought. and yada uada yadadada buchou called them and said they should have a match(cockblock) with nodoka at her house(how could they even enter the house nodo and saki is at nodo's room) so another mahjong match ensues.
after that, the tsurugas went home and nodoka suggest (sigh shyly) that they should cook dinner together and when they were just about to go, suddenly fujita, kana and mihoko came, saying that buchou called them and nodoka is stuck to another match(btw in these matches, buchou specifically said that they have to fight nodo). after the match, nodo and saki cooked dinner.
after having a nice dinner, saki asked if she could take a bath and nodoka(SHYLY) asked if she could join- AND SUDDENLY KOROMO, HAJIME AND TOUKA CAME AND ANOTHER MATCH(cockblock) ensue.
after the match, they went home and the two girls took a bath(together. yayyyyy).
after taking a bath, nodoka with super doki doki asked if saki would like to sleep together but saki already fell asleep and nodo was just about to join and table flip buchou, yuuki and mako came and asked for a match(cockblock. or is it p***yblock lmaooooooooooo). nodoka wants buchou to explain whats up with all the cockblocks and buchou said she'll tell her if nodoka won. matching nodoka's anger, i literally ended the game with baimans and yakumans. after that, buchou explained that she wants nodoka to at least understand that superpowered players are real, not just some supertitious bullshit and nodoka complies because she understands(or she just want them to get hella outta there) and they went home, again saying "take it easy~" after that nodoka stares at saki fondly, and thought "im with the most supertitious person" and then nodo can finally sleep with her garufurendo. the end.
phew. it was a great game.

this scene is from saki zenkoku hen ep 1. this is where saki unintentionally wore buchous's skirt instead bcoz she was in a rush. at the end when she finally noticed, she quickly apologized to buchou and start to unzip the skirt, untill her fellow teammates says that she looks good with longer skirt(I TOTALLY AGREE BECAUSE IT GAVE OFF INTIMIDATING AURA, probz why the achigas were pretty scared when they walk past each other) and nodoka says that she agrees and saki scratch the back of her head bashfully and then...when her skirt lowered....I FREAKIN DIDNT SEE ANY PANTSU. If you have a Vita (or PS TV), then I recommend picking up the Saki Zenkoku-hen game. It's pretty easy to figure out the menus and controls, even if you cannot read Japanese. There are translations online to help, too.

Nowadays I only play Chinese styles over the holidays with my family. I think I would screw something up at a live riichi mahjong table; just looking at them all objectively, it really is the most complicated of the bunch, despite having fewer ways to get points.

It isn't clear how much Teru's mirror can see. In order to overcome it you have to experience self growth or improvement, which is a very tall order. Just because the first hand isn't deep in the mountain doesn't mean that Shizu's power isn't visible to her.

Although that would put Teru at a disadvantage if the two of them played each other, since her ability wouldn't manifest by the time Teru's does so she'd be blindsided.

when teru does the mirror thingy, i think she could easily spot what shizu could do because teru use the first hand for using her mirror ability. so there's a possibility she could still avoid it but it'll be toughtough for teru to do her winning strike- wait. its not like they're gonna battle each other in the finals. teru is a vanguard. facepalm*facepalm*
but its pretty obvious that the...final battle is between shizu and saki because someone (i forgot who) said something like, "will the flowers bloom at the deepest part of the mountain?" something like that. i think.

Shizuno's deep mountain stuff is obviously set up to completely screw over Saki, but as a standalone talent, it's not nearly as compelling as any of Kiyosumi.

people keeps saying that shizu's power nullify powers. But dude! she's not! i bet if she's playing with momo she wont be able to beat momo. i mean, her skill in mahjong isn't THAT awesome compared to yumi tbh. i also think her powers wont do any good against teru, sumire, mihoko and other super players that doesn't require a deep tile drawing.
