Edit: Btw, to the one who posted a picture of a broken penis, penises have no bones. That made a giggle a bit.

Penile fracture is a real thing that can happen though :P
Though not in the way that picture is showcasing it lol.

I'll never understand peoples' fascination with Futa... the whole point of yuri is that both of them have vaginas. If I want to see a dick action, I'll check yaoi or hetero.

Please stop adding dicks to characters that are not meant to have them. Besides why is it always girls with dicks? Where are guys with vaginas? I am yet to find one, not that either of them interests me. Honestly, what's the point of saying you like yuri when you are still turning one of them into a half male when neither of characters is meant to be one?

This was a nice read but would've been 100 times better without futa.

Most of futa is meant to be a "best of both worlds" type of deal. The intent is to excuse a penis to be there, but it's not like it doesn't provide some interesting sexual play in a fantasy setting when you have two functional genitals. And generally speaking there are usually more girls with penises because it's just what people prefer to see.
It's why there are straight guys who like reading trap porn but don't like straight up yaoi porn, because cute girls are cute, dicks or not.
Also why can't one like yuri and futa? Do one's tastes have to be mutually exclusive?
You're saying "the whole point of yuri is that both of them have vaginas" but does Love Live have to be strictly yuri? If this is a work of fantasy, what's wrong with altering the story to your tastes? Reversing genders or turning something into futa is not inherently bad, it's just a different take on it for a different audience and there are more audiences besides yuri fans. Because trust me, I also know people who hate those who turn Love Live into yuri.
I'm not saying you have to like futa, but it sounds like your anger is a bit misplaced just because you're too fixated on two characters keeping their canon gender. All of these doujins, yuri or not, are fanmade and non canon, it's not really fair to oppress an artist who likes to do futa while praising the artists who do yuri because they're both doing what they like with the story and providing their audiences with something they enjoy while disregarding the original material (yeah I know Love Live is full of undertones, but we all know they're not explicitly lesbians at any point in the show).

I would even add that, this position is specific wouldn't actually feel that good because the weight is so distributed that unless you put enough pressure down, it will likely just feel like a sloppy handjob and you would need to position yourself perfectly to pull it off and always make sure you're aligned.
It's one of those things that look good in fiction but not so much in real life. Like boobjobs.
The truth is, penises just aren't that sensitive as fiction makes them out to be, and rubbing your body across one, unless this person has that type of fetish in specific or you really manage to move properly, will likely not give a whole lot of pleasure to your partner. I could do the same movement with my hand and it won't feel good at all.
But at this point we're just diving into how fictional porn is better than real life sex so I'll stop here.
Penis talk is always fun.

A question for the males; would it hurt if a girl sat on the underside side of your genitals like how Maki does in this manga?

Asking the real questions ay.
Likely not, even taking into account penis curvature.
The whole weight of the body is not sitting on it as she's clearly supporting herself with both her arms and her legs in order to move, therefore the amount of pressure wouldn't really be something that could cause pain, especially given that Honoka has an erection which pretty much makes the penis resistant to a lot of external pressure (guys who struggle getting it down during the morning will know even if you punch it that shit ain't going down).
The key here is weight distribution. This should be fine for most people to do as a lot of the weight would be distributed across the person laying underneath as well as the surface you're doing it on and not just the genital area in specific.

Due to all of the unexpected seriousness of all the comments here, I feel obligated to say that I found this to be hilarious. I love how futas are just like: I have a dick, always been there, not gonna explain. What, do you have a problem with that?"

Funny, that's one thing I tend to dislike about them. The lack of context increases my perception that most of them are basically a way to insert het sex into a lesbian story without including any actual guys (because no homo for the male reader, natch).

Plus, if it's a talented artist or a good story (like this one or the KonaKaga ones Celtrance did), I want the reasoning for why they made such a radical change to the character to be part of the narrative. It's like you're missing part of the storytelling process, which is something I notice when it's otherwise a good story.

The romantic side of this one and the fact that there's a lot less emphasis on dick than a lot of futa stuff helps a lot, though.

This.
Most futa stories just simply ackowledge that the other person has a penis there. They don't question it ever, even though it's a completely abnormal thing to have. That's why most futa is just pure porn anyway because people watch it as a fantasy, because it takes itself in a non serious matter. But when you try to actually really take futa seriously like this story does, you have to at least wonder why the other person doesn't find a penis there to be weird and why did the author decide to go down that path.
Even the stories where there's some magic spell that suddenly makes the girl grow a penis at least make a bit more sense just because they're giving you context for the penis to be there.
One way or another though, the fact still stands, most futa exists for the sole sake of turning yuri into het, no matter how vanilla it is. It will be the end of the world when I find a manga that deals with the RL issues of being a hermaphrodite with two functional genitals lol.
This is why with serious stories I prefer reading straight up trans or genderbender over futa, just because the penis being there doesn't feel so out of place.
I still really liked this though, the atmosphere is nicely set and it's very sweet for the kind of theme it presents.

Isn't all futa meant to be a replacement for het? :P
I don't mind it or anything (don't kill me pls), I just don't think it was invented for any other reason other than excuse the existence of a penis.
This one was pretty toned down futa though which is a nice change from all the gigantic penises and semen showers.

Jesus. 2 days? I think there's a problem if having sex is starting to intrude upon your normal activities. That's where you say NO, control yourself. Liked the rough sex, though it appeared pretty one sided, with mostly Ran dominating Yurika.

Yeah but for me it looked like Yurika wasn´t so much against it.

When I said one sided, I meant it was mostly one person pleasuring the other.

As someone who reads a lot of S&M I would say this is a fairly balanced relationship and to me it seemed that Ran really likes pampering and teasing Yurika just as much as Yurika enjoys having Ran do all those things to her.

I don't know what's more disturbing, that I love this doujin or that I have other squid girl yuri to compare it against.

I think you need to share that second squid yuri work with us so we can provide a larger comparative sample.

That last panel would make a lot more sense if I knew what the boys were doing there with those...controllers? I don't even know. There's no context, although I'm guessing it might make sense to someone who plays.

I thought it was the real players irl ... Playing both as girls, but then it doesn't make sense that they're squids too!
I've been following these, I can't believe you got all together and translated thank you very much!

I think that's the same guys from earlier who observed the yuri as it developed. My guess is that they bonded over being yuri fans and proceeded to add each other as friends or something.

Maybe? It'd help if the little popup boxes at the end were translated.

The boxes only say そうだ which is just a general agreement expression. Kind of a "that's right" or I guess in this context it could be "you're right".

Maybe it's some message you can send in-game?

Also the icons seem to imply they've added each others as friends or something. (Probably because they're both yuri fanboys).

I think they're just yuri fanboys. The author uses that type of gag a lot. So maybe they're playing Splatoon for the yuri I guess.

I think circumstances are what matter here.

Obviously, typically speaking, if you grow up with a sibling since you were young, you'll just naturally learn to accept them as just that, it will very rarely evolve into incest. The last thing I think of when I look at my own sister is that I want to date her.
But maybe, in an alternative universe, if we had met in a different way, maybe not since we were kids, I could have felt differently towards them.

In Citrus, the two sisters obviously didn't have any prior knowledge about each other, so it's not unreasonable to imagine a romantic bond forming between the two due to the circumstances around them.

And the same goes for any kind of incestuous relationship, you can't just make huge encompassing generalizations because this is very much a case by case thing.

Just taking a quick look at this page will give you a nice list of countries where it's punishable by law, and those countries include Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and The USA.

And those are the only ones listed in that page, there's more countries in the world than those on that list (obviously).

Edit: Well guess you looked at it yourself.

Edit2: Glad my country doesn't have to deal with this BS lol.

In most western countries (probably in japan too?), in present days, there are no laws against incest per se, as long as the persons involved are consenting, not mentally impaired, adults. There're law against them marrying, but nothing keeps them from having sex.

Not true, incest is a criminal offense in multiple western countries (quite a big amount too) regardless of age and consent and you will be prosecuted if you're found to have had sexual relationships with a first degree blood related sibling (not so much for cousins as I mentioned earlier).

Of course if no one reports you to the police, it's not like people will go after you.

You'd be surprised.

People went absolutely NUCLEAR at the Flash TV show because it made the love interest the adopted sister of the Flash. Message boards were filled with "GROSS", "FUCK THIS INCEST SHIT" and whatnot.

Well, those people clearly don't understand what the definition of incest entails.
You should give them a dictionary.

Can anyone enlighten me why Japan thinks cousins are okay, but adopted siblings not?

First cousins are usually more accepted worldwide simply because the blood relation between the two individuals is much much smaller.
The Coefficient of Relationship (the kinship value) between first cousins is only 12% (same as second cousins) whereas the value for full siblings and parents is 50%.
Incest laws usually only pertain to coefficients higher than 25% because that's kind of the point where inbreeding can cause damage.
I know a couple of cousins who got married here and it's not seen as weird and I'm going to guess Japan is the same.
I'm also going to guess it has to do with Japan's history of arranged marriages where often cousin marriages would occur due to a bunch of factors.
Cousin relationships and marriae are also usually not prohibited in a lot of religions, Christianity included.
Overall, it's just been more culturally accepted.

The only countries in the world where cousin marriage is actually illegal are The USA (in most states), China, India, Philippines, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary.

GAAAAAAAAAAY oh right this is a doujin not part of the anthology.

@Nosebleed: You also missed a line behind the "w" here, do you use the lasso/marquee tool when you edit? because I've noticed those kind of lines in some of your releases, anyway thanks for the hard work as usual. resists urge to volunteer for editing no I'm not just copying OrangePekoe, I've been resisting the urge for a while evidence im not BSing

Not gonna lie, I looked at the page for a good 10 mins before I found that.
I don't typically use the lasso tool, I think what I should do first is clean and then typeset over the clean scans but I tend to do everything at the same time and then things like that slip by me.
Also, I tend to do these things in the spur of the moment, usually several hours straight late at night, so at one point my eyes are just giving out and quality control becomes more lax.
As for extra words, that's what happens when I'm writing the sentence and then realize I could word it better but forget to delete some part of the previous sentence. :P
Well none of it should be an excuse for simple mistakes like this, but despite knowing all that, I often still derp.
I think my problem is trying to do it all in one go.

Snowave, I've been looking at this gif for hours now and still cannot compute why that dog is doing this.

Clearly they didn't get enough milk from their mother when they were a puppy and are going through a rebellious stage. (Best I could come up with to make this comment relevant to the manga in this thread).

I say this as both Kouhai's friend and a scanlator myself...

I don't think any scanlator is above criticism, no matter how much effort (or lack thereof) put in to a release. Seriously, there are many times where I wince at poor translations or typesetting, or anything of the sort. I honestly wish more people really would criticise scanlators (and especially myself!) because it's the only way people are going to improve. Kouhai knows well the pedantically high level of quality I hold myself and others to, but I think she appreciates it (mostly).

But there's good ways and bad ways to criticise people. I think everyone can agree that candy is showing us a really terrible way of doing so. And it's unfortunate, because not only is he actually willing to criticise where most aren't, he's causing a defensive reaction from others, including the awful "scanlators are above reproach" type of response.

We should encourage people to get better, not put them down... Or alternatively jack up their egos such that they don't see improvement as necessary.

You wouldn't believe the amount of shit you would get for making this comment on another forum I moderate. I've seen several translation projects dropped because people jumped on a bandwagon and bashed down the translators so hard they quit the project.
Being an ass about translations doesn't do anything good, it just creates an unpleasant atmosphere and is harmful to both parties because you're engaging in non productive discussion based on inflamatory comments. There's better ways to stroke your e-penis. Some people man...
