I dunno guys, like there is no endgame ships in the anime, and I am quite happy with where it ended both from a film buff's perspective and from a yuri lover's perspective. There isn't any particular endgame ship at all from the anime, and the show did a lot more for KumiRei rather than ShuuMiko. Not that I'd know what'd happen if they came out with a sequel, but it stands on good grand for right now.

But really, you guys have got to stop this unnecessary avalanche against KyoAni. Tamako Market was actually a really sweet movie if you don't come out of it with bias, and they're only credit against them is that one incident. Chu2 literally has almost 50% anime-orginal material and put a LOT of eggs in the yuri basket between Deko and Mori. It's come to the point where I'm pretty sure if they released an anime adaptation of Sakura Trick you'd all complain how it's not gonna yuri.

^ Really? By lewd do you mean sex is involved or lewd because it's porn? Big difference, because these two are a lot more romantic about this relationship.

@PaleRide don't listen to wooberjig the game isn't all that lame. It's a good side-game to do while passing the time, and the events are a lot of fun.

She's probably throwing Ranko out of the apartment before she takes Minami up on the offer.

Case closed? Hell no. The last two episodes diverted from the light novels so dramatically it's not even funny. A couple months have passed, the storm has died down, and in the clearing we see a majority of the fans of the series who are not bigoted, selfish, and short-sighted shipping Shuumiko in the novels and KumiRei in the anime. Shoot, based on what I have heard and the excerpts I have read I'd much agree in that regard.

I reallllllly don't mean to look to far into things unnecessarily, buuuuuuutttttt some things have been shown to mean a helluva lot more than they seem at first glance. If Shou takes time to give any amount of proper respect toward even a minute detail, it has been proven to very frequently mean something far greater.

Now direct our attention to the kind of flowers Keiko got...I won't go through and describe them because, well, you can go back and read for yourself. I can find them as a microcosmic symbol for any sort of romantic relationship between the two. Which can be good, bad, or both:

-The flowers are meant to be preserved for a long time, which means Keiko wants their relationship to continue 'blooming' for a long time.
-However there "Is no need to water them"...this might be a language idiom barrier, but that could suggest that maybe Keiko is warning against developing the relationship any further; or it could mean that since the flowers are already going strong and at their peak, there isn't a need to bother putting much effort since the relationship is already at its best point.
-The first doesn't particularly make sense in the case of 'not bringing it into the sunlight'.

Add onto the fact that this is Ran's birthday, Keiko was very excited-nervous to give it to Ran, and the way we purposely didn't get Ran's immediate reaction to anything substantial from Ran (which Shou almost always gives us), I would use to suggest that maybe Keiko is alluding to either the fact they share mutual feelings for each other (perhaps she herself is not aware of the fact?), or maybe their relationship as friends is just really important to her. Or maybe the theory we joked about in passing a few months ago about them having already been in a romantic relationship for a while is actually true.

Or maybe I'm dissecting why the curtain was colored blue when Shou is like "It's because I decided to make it fucking blue".

Guys. It is just hentai. Its only purpose is giving artist excuse so s/he can draw girls making out. Sure it is nice when those have good story, but I honestly don't expect anything remotely good from works of this kind. Probably like 90% of mangakas don't really think much about plot in those things. If you gets offended and want to complain about every yuri porn, then you won't be able to live a peaceful life ;x

I won't be complaining about anything like this, but I can't help but feel disappointed. As long as stories like this and this and even this exist, I really can't judge a story purely on tags.

I think it's nice to have a story where the relationship is "out" for a change. Feels like it's usually either treated as a secret or the story revolves around the couple to the point that it doesn't matter what their friends think. This has a similar vibe to The Collectors in that sense.

I prefer an easy start to an long more realistic beginning just to get some damn relationship afterwards stories, which are even that damn rare in main het stories romances

Meh, lathering on the GAYAAAAAAAAAANGST is so trite by this point, it doesn't strike me as much fun to write or read. I'm quite happy to read a series that dispenses with it, like Lily Love or Kase-san and actually deals with other relationship issues instead.

I agree with this. It doesn't feel like there's many new shoes to tread that ground with, and I'd rather read something different than something cliche, even if the cliche is more logical.

All of this. I don't understand why some people defend those realistic but overdone cliches. Just a little is good, but no when they are entire focus of the story.

Well there's defending 'trite/shallow', and then there's defending 'cliche'. Because to be honest, angst is nothing new; you will never your entire life find the only story to handle even a niched story that has a different kind of angst than another. This might pick up steam, but at the moment it's rather disappointing. And injecting angst into the mix will not make it taste better..it'll just make it too flavorful.

Professor Oak would have some good words to say with regards to all this.

My case is that it is yet to do anything to have a grasp on me, I pretty much skipped/skimmed all the chapters until ch6 to see where things go, but still nothing. Comedy (whenever it has) is swing'n'miss and characters are pretty meh.

I honestly much agree for now since it this one just doesn't feel paced well in my honest opinion.

But it's pretty odd considering this author has proven to be good at writing

Think you guys are pulling quite a stretch to classify (what bascially is) a child.

(Guess this is what these forums are nowadays)

How about we go back and actually read my post and let's try this sentence again.

The only ACE character I've seen in a yuri story is Fueko from "The Feelings We All Must Endure". She does have sex with Asuna (which represents lust, ironically), but she's actually not interested in it at all.

A fantastic example because she is pretty clearly asexual yet not at all aromantic. She very much wants to love Asuna but her love constitutes something Asuna struggles to know, which built many difficult barriers between them for almost the entire story.

But in the mixed-received, bittersweet ending, even they found a way to have a glimmer of hope for the future. Since Senpai doesn't thrive off of lust (she very well might be asexual herself), I think this pair has a brighter path ahead.

Friends go from all gossipy, "don't get near her, she's a lesbian", to "Woohoo, when do you two have sex? lololol...".

Somehow, this is too easy.

Is likely they were just probing Mew at first. Giving how open they are at the idea, isn't hard to think they are at the least, experimented.

Especially considering the whole ordeal about "hot love with senior"
