But logic? Nope, there are no cultural variants in logic. Reason and logic are universal.

Logic has nothing to do with it. It's a cultural thing. Any Japanese would assume a romantic relationship is exclusive unless explicitly said otherwise.

There's that blanket thing again...

This is not a question of need or lack thereof. They have a contract. Perchance you forgot?

A contract none of them took seriously. What they did take seriously was the relationship itself.

Too much headcanon, too little canon.

Mmm nope. You can't just make blanket generalizations like that.

"Something works generally in a certain way" ==> "That's the norm everyone must adhere to" is bad, flawed logic.

You should consider this was written from a Japanese mindset for Japanese readers. In the Western world there is a tendency to not make assumptions or generalizations about a lot of stuff, but that's a Western thing. The Japanese are not like that.

I'm all for cultural specificity. I often write myself that Japan is not the West, and that you can't judge Japanese stories or characters by Western moral parameters. I've been in many a debate because of that.

But logic? Nope, there are no cultural variants in logic. Reason and logic are universal.

Liz seems to feel that her actions could hurt Maki, that's for sure. Doesn't mean it's a breach of contract.

There's no need for a contract.

This is not a question of need or lack thereof. They have a contract. Perchance you forgot?

4) "You're especially cute today."

4) It's her twin sister. (Yes, I've seen it happen.)

Fo' real?
In real life or in fiction?

Lol not in real life. I don't think it ever happened to me or any of my friends in real life... but it certainly can happen, especially if the twins make an effort to look identical.

In manga/games/anime, I've seen it happen many times. It happened to the MC in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: he just couldn't tell apart the green-haired twins. In fact it took him a long time to realize they were two girls, not just one girl who suffered from curious mood swings. (And when he found out, it was in the most embarrassing way...)

Closer to home: in yuri manga, I remember it happening in the first pages of Narcissus Twins. Some loser guy claims to love one of the twins, but then mistakes her for her sister and ridicules himself. (We needn't feel sorry for him because he didn't have a chance to begin with, as those two were wincest sisters, haha.)

I'm calling a stop to all talk about this which doesn't relate directly to the story.

Thankies!

But majority of you guys keep quoting that, "she cheated! She cheated!" But I did not see at any point in the story that Liz and Maki confirm that they're in an 'exclusive relationship'

Romantic relationships are generally exclusive. That's the norm, specially in Japan. So unless there's a specific mention suggesting otherwise, I think we can safely conclude it was supposed to be exclusive.

Mmm nope. You can't just make blanket generalizations like that.

"Something works generally in a certain way" ==> "That's the norm everyone must adhere to" is bad, flawed logic.

And the fact that Liz herself said "I'm the worst" further confirms that what she did was a betrayal towards Maki and she knows it.

Liz seems to feel that her actions could hurt Maki, that's for sure. Doesn't mean it's a breach of contract.

But I do agree that she obviously regrets what she did.

I just hope Maki finds out so we can see some real consequence from Liz's actions.

That depends on Maki's reaction if/when she finds out. And Maki's reaction is anyone's guess. I, for one, won't make any predictions.

And this is a bad thing because...?

I really wish the moderators would start banning everyone who just comes to threads to whine and complain about loli content.

yup

That would be nice.

Lol, haha, such a classic misunderstanding.
When you try to praise your girlfriend saying that:
1) "Your food is especially good today."
2) "You had an especially good idea today."
3) "I slept especially well on your lap today."
4) "You're especially cute today."
And it turns out that:
1) She didn't cook today.
2) It wasn't her idea.
3) That was her whale pillow.
4) It's her twin sister. (Yes, I've seen it happen.)

We need more wish-fulfillment self-satisfaction lesbian manga like this one. Or A Room For Two. Or Is My Hobby Weird? Or Kimi wa Shoujo.

Do actual kids even fathom the concept of a lover?
I don't think this is what a real kid's reaction is like, or am I just out of touch with how the new generation thinks?

If you're a young kid, there's nothing strange in having a baby crush on a big brother or big sister figure. Especially if it's someone you have known since you were a child in diapers; someone who has always been really nice to you, played with you, paid lots of attention to you, etc. etc.

Think Schroeder and Charlie Brown.

^ I think you nailed it.
We already have the MC sister pair and the other sister pair who have crushes on the MCs. It's only natural that, if Shima gets a part-time job, the new characters from her workplace will be... yet another sister pair, haha.

Jo qué abandonado que tenemos este tema...

Hace SEIS DÍAS que salió el capítulo diez de Warikitta y nadie se ha enterado...

https://tmofans.com/viewer/5e308b312e5b4/cascade

My question is: is this really mistagged or does real Yuri (romantic and/or sexual relationships between women) actually occur in this at some point in a future volume's main story (specials and extras don't count)?

There's plenty of romantic love going 'round.

Sexual stuff, not so much... although Chinatsu once described in all explicitness the H things she wanted to do to Yui... but most of the words in her lecture were censored, so we never found out the exact details.

Yui-chin, thank you so much for all the recommendations! Both for Elsanna and others.

It's a parody manga. That's pretty much the point. Each chapter has some sort of classic romantic trope that it deconstructs by increasing it to absolute absurdity. Whether it's suspension-bridge-romances or bad-boy-appeals or corny romantic lines ...

Grr. Why can't people just get over themselves?! It's fucking chapter 33, not chapter 3. Nobody needs to come back to complain again and again that some over-the-top comedy manga is not to their taste by being completely over-the-top.

I know, right? That's the good thing about Japanese forums.

In Japan, most people don't write about series or characters or pairings they don't like. They write about the things they do like. They ignore the rest. If they don't approve of, say, a certain pairing of two characters in a story, they don't touch the threads or comments made by fans of that pairing. If they dislike a show on TV, they carefully avoid conversations held by fans of said show. If someone comes to them and specifically asks what their thoughts on the subject are, they reply: "Sorry, I don't get it." or "I don't get what's good about it."

Here, way too many people who write in forums seem to love nothing more than bashing the things they dislike. They are way more eager to pick fights with fans who hold opposite views than to bond with those who share their own views. Sigh. Pure barbarism, I swear.

The very definition of wincest.

Elsanna is a favorite of mine. It's impossible for me not to ship them. I really like their pairing.

In fact, here's a nice drawing of Elsa & Anna tackling the 22 kisses challenge:
