I know, but the extra pages for each chapter aren't translated for volume 1. From the volume 2 nothing extra has been translated, either colored pages nor the extra pages after the chapters.

If you didn't say that I wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't unbinded. Either you have a really good scanner or you tried really hard to scan it xD Nevertheless the quality is superb for this kind of scan. You have no idea what I've seen when it was scanned without debinding.

It'd be a good idea to message the translator and see if he'll be up for it. There will probably be a third volume out soon, if you're getting it will you be uploading the extras and colored pages from it?

Volume two ends with chapter 22.5, so what we got here is more than what you get in the book (I think the rest will be included in volume 3), but there are some extra materials not included in the online release,a full colour extra chapter in the beginning of volume two, and some notes at the end of each chapter.

Now if only someone were to scanlate those extra stuff and put them here xD

Huh. Well that goes to show you that I don't know jack shit about publishers and whatnot xD Though I still don't think we don't have to worry about cancellation. The last time someone posted about the popularity of Stretch it was in the top 3 if not at the top, so yeah.

As for the endings... Depending on the moment the manga will be decided to get cancelled, we might get a yuri or a non-yuri end. And only assuming Akili has a chance to finish it without any forced cancellations, I'd expect 60% yuri vs 40% non-yuri end, as of today. Non-yuri doesn't necessarily mean het - the girls could simply grow out of their current relationship and stay friends. But I expect it to stay in the cloudy (yuri-wise) subtext way as long as the series goes. It's in fact what brings value to the series and makes it different from others.

You don't need to worry about cancellations, it's a web manga. It's not tied to any one publishing company, he/she posts it on her/his site.

That's cool. You can go to a bookstore or something to scan it. Otherwise you can try at yuriproject and ask there how the best way to do it.

Hmm, I was just reading through the Hakka-ya stuff again (cause why not) and the second part of this particular AU is missing. Just thought I should let you guys know. If you can't find it I have it.

The fact that the soba Ran cooked in chapter 26 was for her 'special someone' and that she popped Keiko's new year soba cherry gives me feels. And she gave Valentine's day chocolate to Keiko which was the kind of her 'special someone' too.... Yep, feels galore.

Do we still consider Ran's feelings as subtext or have we broken that barrier?

I think ever since Keiko's ex showed up at Ran's place of work Ran has been progressively leaving hints and before that she was mostly having fun on Keiko's expense. At least it seems to me that ever since he showed up she kind of had an 'Oh shit.' moment and went on the offensive.

As for when she broke the barrier I think it was broken with the Valentine's chapter, but if we take into account the noodles it would be the 26th chapter that passed subtext. If you want to go even further in when she started going more aggressively it would be in the 23rd chapter (right after the 21st one where the ex comes about) where she 'accidentally' shows her panties.

I have a lot of time on my hands..

As for the foreshadowing, the way Ran mentions her dad's words is almost like she's preparing for the break-up with Keiko. Ran is certainly a very strong girl to be able to handle the situation so calmly and rationally, but I'm sure she's also human, and deep down the negative emotions accumulate and at some point she'll freak out. The less desired attention she gets from Keiko, the more it's gonna hurt her. And this actually might be a trigger to the return of her alcoholism. And this is where a lot of drama can happen between the two girls. Keiko's already feeling quite nervous after the Valentine.
This is of course pure speculation and I'm a known sucker for drama, so... I do hope everything will turn out fine and well, but...

I don't know where you get foreshadowing a break-up since they're not together, perhaps you meant falling-out? Still I don't think Ran saying her fathers words is an indication for that kind of preparation. More like she's remembering what her father told her and acting upon what he taught her (about the noodles) Plus I don't see Keiko being nervous after Valentine's Day.

I think you got your terms here mixed up. From what I understand it was a miscarriage which is why she got so depressed afterwards. She was happy to be pregnant.

Those noodles they made? They're the exact ones Ran makes in chapter 26; where she says there's "just a little something" special about them. My guess: they're special because her dad taught her how to make them. So her precious someone is Keiko ("Make this for your precious someone one day"), although we've pretty much known that for a while. xD

Since this is a continuation of chapter 22.5, it's a little weird seeing Keiko acting so normally when she was about to collapse before Ran found her. As if it never happened. I'm surprised Ran doesn't bring it up either, but based on the page where she's watching Keiko talking with her boss, I think she's thinking about it.

Otherwise Keiko could be keeping up pretenses or she's snapped out of the thought that she wished that her mother died in the earthquake (I still think that is the thought that came to her, in light of her abortion).
