Yeah, this definitely feels like the author is planning to make it very short, maybe just one volume long at the most, or it wouldn't be rushing this fast to set it up.
On the other hand, I honestly prefer a fast pace to a story that drags on, and the hero is still unaware that she's in the kind of manga where everyone's a lesbian.
Also, it might not be intentional, but it's pretty much a tokusatsu tradition that the first episode crams in as much as possible, and then slows down a bit for the rest of the series.

The suit design is very cool, too.

I do like that the new series tries to make it look less one sided by showing that Yamada also has a sex drive, even if her thirsty level isn't as high as her girlfriend's. And Kase-san respects that, and I like that they never do that shitty "no means yes" thing that's weirdly standard in manga.

I mean, that's kind of the main theme of the manga. Kase-san is always super horny, but tries her best to reel it in.

This one of a handful of manga I keep coming back to and reread every once in a while. It's very easy to digest.

This series has some good yuri potential.

Never said I didn't like the mood whiplash, that stuff was good, and you're putting words in our mouths. Yuri romance one chapter, gory historic drama the other.

But when they started travel in time and space, and the robots, it just got too stupid.
