This is the first time I’ve been okay with “no yuri” in a manga published to DS. This was a wonderful and beautiful story.

There are a LOT of great non yuri on DS if you look around.. When you've read all the yuri, it can be a good idea to trawl through a search of your fav tags, but exclude the yuri tag. You will find at least SOME hidden gems you missed.

I love Touhou and have read all the yuri - excluding the few with tags i dont read- so I once did an excluded yuri search, and also excluded all the tags I dont like (such as violence, tragedy, futa, het etc) - and a blank search box, then worked my through the whole lot over a week or so.. I ended up adding about 20 of them into my touhou favs list.

And then the kitty passes away and they are no longer mommy friends as there is nothing there connecting them anymore.......

That can be the next Drama part XD

Its one of Those anchient cliches that Will get referenced forever

If we're doing cliches, go all out! Our ditzy heroine is a total novice, who (somehow) has a crazy hidden power potential that can lay waste to entire battalions.

Black-haired Ace-Oneesan (yes, I named her) has a TRAGIC backstory, with her entire family/former lover/both killed in an ironic manner. Her flirty behavior is just a cover for her broken heart and broken mind that only the true love of Heroine-chan can heal. Also, she's a cyborg who'd self-conscious about her body modification, but Heroine-chan is into that.

But then loud Rival-san appears and tries to also aim for Heroine-chan's affection, Heroine-chan is torn and asks shy and quiet ChildhoodFriend-chan for advice, who tells her she should listen to what her heart tells her, even though she herself doesn't do so and is left with a broken heart, because in truth she has also loved Heroine-chan for a long time now, but she never confessed, because she didn't want their relationship to change and because they're both girls and it could never happen....poor ChildhoodFriend-chan TToTT

The villains is defeated with the power of love and the befriended

I'm glad Akira figured out Mayuki's feelings for her so quickly.

I’m honestly surprised it took her this long to figure it out. It’s not like Mayuki was subtle about it. >.> Though Akira has a lot of fangirls (and boys) so she probably thought Mayuki was no different.

Anyway, I’m loving the composition in this chap. The scene at the distributor, especially − at first Akira doesn’t look at Mayuki at all, but then we have this brilliant two-panel shot of Mayuki walking past her as she realizes she’s not as "superior" as she thought.

Same with the three panels of Mayuki gradually taking the high ground during the kiss.

Yeah, its some real cinematogrophy, it even serves a double purpose as we see it from Mayukis perspective looking at Akiras back which show How Mayuki doesnt feel aknowledged
