Makino talks too much. Although getting it all out in the open may actually help them through their problems quicker. Maybe even give Mashiro a way to go on without having to rely on her less well regarded job. Depends all on how mom will take it, though.

I was certainly worried at first as well, but then I remembered the true form of the flag. Although more trouble is always possible, yes.

Why hasn't this manga been adapted into an anime, even though it's finished? Because Yukiko-sensei doesn't want to or is there another reason?

Lots of manga don't get anime adaptations. Most of them, even.

Especially once they're finished, although there have been a couple of exceptions.

I'm guessinggggg, she's someone from the same middle school as Nagisa who admired her for being the serious model student and stuff. But now Nagisa looks all flashy, so the First year thinks it's Mashiro's bad influence leading Nagisa astray and tries to "pull her back to the right path". Or smth along those lines~

Not even just her looking flashy, but also not making it into her chosen much higher ranked school. Amusingly enough, technically Mashiro actually is the cause for this, but certainly not in the way new girl thinks.

Ah, such a happy birthday chapter and a nice look at their first day in the same school from Mashiro's point of view. ^_^

And then a hint of the next little trouble to overcome. Shouldn't take long, knowing this series.
