The tags are inappropriate for the Pixiv stories. They should be in their own group of chapters. yuri and 404 men not found are false for most of these chapters.

404 aside, they're prequels so you know they end up gay (assuming they weren't already). Let's not complicate things.

It's refreshing to see Tomoko refer to Mako as "Mako-san" in her head.

I do believe that's what she calls her (when she's not referring to her in her head as "gachirezu" at least)

Everything always seem so rushed esp the endings. I wish there would be more chapters to go more in depth of characters and prison town in general. It seems a common trend that all these works start well but gloss over a lot then finish way to quickly.

I liked the series more when it was only about Tae and Jimiko, but I guess the introduction of the third woman will later lead to Tae and Jimiko trying to define their relationship and set up rules/boundraries

Twas a TL error. The actual line is "it was only a few weeks that we were together". There's a fixed version on Mangadex which I've just submitted to Dynasty.

This first chapter seemed decent enough to me I suppose, but after reading some of these comments I'm getting a little worried. What's the issue people have with this author, exactly?

Long story short, people didn't like the author's prior manga (Stretch) because they thought it was gonna end with explicit yuri like the one before it (Prism).

Yeah... I was wondering who the friend was... and that makes sense... seems like something Fujou would do... except was she around when that whole conversation with Setsu about the strongest Oddman and staying away from them was going around? If so then maybe not... and maybe it was the sister....

The festival was several days, so there was plenty of time to work with.

I bet it was 6, not the sister, because she said friend.

Going by the context clues, the one who sent the text was likely Fujou, who wanted to stop Kirara and Nuida fighting during the festival.
