Ok, so. These are all the conclusions I'm jumpting to based on this 4-page long chapter:

Sakurako and Kageko broke up or at least haven't talked to each other in a long time.
MC will develop a crush on Kageko (or in Kageko's mom).
Manga is about her fixing Sakurako and Kageko's relationship while dealing with her unrequited feelings.
There may be a threesome at some point between MC, Sakurako and Kageko, or MC ends up with Kageko's mom.

I really like this story because it shows people using money to enjoy themselves, which is soemthing I've been struggling with all my life, so I find it quasi cathartic.

Also I like it when every girl makes a mess of the neko MC. That's pretty good too.

Well, so far we've had late night apology egg baskets, and an art-exhibition rescue. Far from what I thought would be our scenes in an ABO manga.

I mean, bless Best Friends, but I can appreciate that the story is setting up situations things for Chao and Zhixu to become involved in each others' lives outside of just modeling, and not just coming up with 35 different ways they can have sex because their forgot their suppressants.

Yeah, my taste for non-con and dub-con stuff varies so I just prefer to talk about how the work in question made me feel. In this case I still think I enjoyed it and saved the story, but the way it went made it that I can't file it under my "hot stories" folder.

Nene agreed to play up her romance with Youko to get Sumika angry/jealous, of course Sumika finding them kissing was intentional. Just because later on Nene decided she wanted to be with Youko for real doesn't mean she wasn't a willing participant in the charade from the start.

All I saw from their date was that Youko hurt Nene by not wanting the same things Nene wanted, and being overall oblivious and insensitive towards Nene's feelings. And sure it sucks for Nene, but she wasn't manipulated into sending Youko a message or into sleeping with her, those were all her (in hindsight) bad choices.

Nene agreed to do it, that's true, but it was all Youko's idea to begin with. And in my opinion she did it just to have fun, not to really help her, or do you get the impression that she truly cares about Nene? I would love to be wrong, but I find it hard to believe that she does. Youko didn't even contact her again after she left.

I don't think it being Youko's idea paints her in a worse light than Nene since she still chose to go with it.

Yeah, I think so. Don't get me wrong, seeing Sumika losing her mind probably was fun for Youko, maybe a little bit for Nene too, but I think she is being honest when she says the whole thing was for Nene's sake. Otherwise she wouldn't bother telling Nene they are just playing romance against Sumika again, she'll just enjoy Sumika's reactions while having fun with Nene.

I'll wait and see how her suddenly abandoning the café is explained before I make any judgements. After all this is "miscommunication, repressed feelings and worst possible asumptions" the manga.

I think she clearly has sociopathic behaviors. Youko was the one who pulled the strings to get Nene and Sumika to fight in the first place, so she could be the one to comfort Nene later.

During this chapter, we can see that Youko doesn't care about her feelings at any moment. She is perfectly aware that Nene is unconfortable and confused, and she just play with her emotions over and over again. Because Youko knows that Nene is in the palm of her hand.

Even in the flashback from Volume 4 we can see the same pattern. For example, I'm pretty sure the way Sumika "found" them kissing wasn't a fluke, but part of Youko's meticulous plan. Nene is just a victim of her in my eyes.

Admittedly, I wish some of y'all would just drop the series and move on.

It's nice to see Marika taking an active role though. I wonder if in her mind she's gonna try to reason it as "pity" or something after hearing Aya's situation.

Yeah, I'm not usually into that thing when one girl is always doing the pleasing and the other is always being pleased but can't never reciprocate, so I liked that scene quite a lot (it also was given more attention here than in the LN so it felt better for me).

I'm not going to tell anyone how to feel about this chapter but as for me I've been excited to see this chapter in manga form and it didn't dissapoint.
