@LeiNas oh I’m at the end of the current content. I saw that scene. But Kafka acted specifically like she had never met Himeko before. She even says “It was…Himeko, was it?” That actually surprised me because going by the fan art I’d seen I assumed they had history, but when I got to the actual scene and she said that line it didn’t seem that way at all. But Kafka DOES have a history with the MC pre-Stelleron. The MC can even make some vague comments about it, like saying Kafka was “nicer before.” The story is making pretty obvious connections between Kafka and the mc. You can interpret as “motherly” if you want. Of course, in anime works that means nothing in regards to romantic pairings, but still. I think people only say that because she enables character selection in game (the implication still exists that Stelle/Caelus was a person she knew before this) and because, well, everyone memes her as a dommy mommy.

I don’t really get this ship. Is there other Hoyoverse content that hints at it (like how Bronya and Seele have existed before)? Otherwise if you want a pairing for Kafka it should obviously be the MC.

I knew I was not mad just yet. Last year I commented about this being the epilogue I saw on other sites and was mildly confused why there was a different one on Dynasty. How fortunate to have both epilogues here after all this time.

Up to this point I have enjoyed this series. But chapter 32 crossed a lot of lines. Rape in a story is not exactly the best plot device, but in certain situations can be used effectively. This, however, isn't it. This is creepy, violent, and extremely off-putting. Even worse is the fact that given the way the author writes, they are almost certainly going to try to play this off as some lighthearted prank. That's completely insulting and callous towards victims of actual rape, and if does happen, I will lose every ounce of respect, and will probably drop this author and series.

This is not a serious series. This is porn. It’s obviously been porn from the start and as such each chapter has always prioritized pushing kinks over any sort of story or characterization. And, like it or not, a big beautiful woman trying to hunt you down to have her way with you is a kink a lot of people have as evidenced by comments here and other places.
