On the contrary, I do love this show and couple, and hope the best of them.
But this is still Gundam, where the main message has always been: war is hell.
It may not be a kill them all plot, but the possibility of everyone getting a happy ending is extremely low.
I want them to be happy, but what if things go south?
What if things don't happen as expected?

Personally, I try to keep expectations realistic.
NOT low, realistic.

Because this is still Gundam, a story about the horrors of war.
And our cast is about to march right into it.

In all honestly, my favorite part of the ending, besides the awesome animation, is how Sulleta removes her mother's tiara, probably hinting at how she will eventually start thinking for herself.
