That is only the case with the first axed adaptation, though. The new manga has just passed that point in the story and is still ongoing, and the original LN is much farther ahead in both the story and their relationship.

I haven't read the newer manga yet... maybe I'll give it a shot. Those two are def cute, but I got bored of the LN since some chapters just dragged on and on with very little happening.

If these are all of the same couple I think it might be best to organize them as a series — especially if there are a bunch more.

No need for chapter numbers, just ordered them by release date and put the chapter names in there. As it is, its very difficult to follow all the sequel tags.

Or maybe we could make a fake anthology tag for all of them, so they could be in order but we wouldn't lose the individual chapter comments?

Maybe Toda just wants to get on her feet on her own before starting a romantic relationship, maybe after finding a new editor. It would be a much healthier thing to do.

2-3 years down the road I imagine them moving back in together. They'd get a 2 bedroom apartment, but one bedroom would be their office.

Love these two and really hope there are more extras or even a sequel.

The fact that this series was given so many chapters gives me hope that other unique series can have as much room to flourish in the future. This might not necessarily have the widest audience but it seems like the mangaka was able to explore the characters fully and had time to work towards a proper ending. Unlike some series that are forced to wrap up very quickly...

isn't kinda the point of this manga?it makes uncomfortable too tho not that i don't like her it's just weird,i'm not really a fan of ecchi at all i guess but i like when the "ecchi situations" involve both of them

One of the trademarks of this series is that it has almost zero visual ecchi—it’s nearly all situational. It’s a real achievement for a series to be so incredibly lewd without actually showing anything more revealing than an ordinary (non-ecchi) manga beach episode.

Hino may see Koguma’s panties, sideboob, nipples, etc., but we readers almost never do. In regard to the visual aspect, the ecchi is mostly in the readers’ imaginations.

Pretty much this. Their relationship is really cute, and they are the same age, so it's fine. All the little tricks Hino plays on Kogu are fun, and their soft D/s relationship is sweet.

It just makes me uncomfortable when they frequently mention how "childish" Kogu's body is and then show her in sexy poses half dressed.

There have been a number of times in this series where the focus shifts away from their mental games and Kogu's embarrassment to Kogu's body, and it makes me uncomfortable every time. Examples being: that time Hino wanted to touch her "childish" legs, that time Hino rubbed "aphrodisiac" on Kogu and she was in very suggestive poses with her clothes half off, etc.

Just expressing my personal discomfort though, especially having glanced at Kinniku Tarou's pixiv. I still love these two, I could do without that whole dynamic though.

Pretty weird way to end the serialization by introducing a new character lol. Either way, I'm glad it's not the last that we'll be seeing of these two.

[87] Every time there is fanservice of Koguma it makes me really uncomfortable. I love these two's cute relationship so much that I overlook it, but this one was definitely a bit awkward to edit. If you've looked at Kinniku Tarou's pixiv then it's definitely not surprising. Really wish he could just leave that out of this series, but alas, we have to deal with it.

So at this point I think it’s safe to say that Ponko did in fact used to be a war machine of some kind. I was surprised by the bouts of existential dread and depression mixed in with the other personalities, it would make sense if those were fears she had beneath the surface right now, but if each was a fragment of a whole segment of her life then that implies she went through some pretty dark periods of time between war bot and Chiaki nurse…

I kinda got the impression that those were corrupted versions of her previous personalities. There are a lot of goofy faces on page 107, and I kinda doubt they were all real. Also the "nyan nyan" one was extremely cute, but I don't think that was a previous personality.

I think it's more likely that her current memories and fragments of old ones combined into some sort of weird corrupted version of her, and each time she went in the freezer different bits of memory were mixed together. Maybe that "nyan nyan" one was because they are taking care of that cat?

Though it is possible that they were all real, and then you'd be right that she has been through a lot of horrible stuff. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm very excited to learn more.
