Where c is the index of the chapter/strip where the event takes place and U is a series-specific Uselessness Constant representing the relative denseness of the characters involved. U can be arbitrarily large and empirically hovers around 30 in this case.

Now, if only I had a table for what the Uselessness Constant of each manga, manhua, light novel and webtoon I either have read, am reading or am considering reading is.

I liked all of the manga by this author I've read, but the previous one definitely did draw out its misunderstandings so long that even I grew impatient at one point. And I get the impression that I was among the more patient commenters

I know people have some issues with how Yasaka Shuu's previous manga went, but since this one is literally starting with a confession I think it (probably) won't suffer from similar problems. I thought this chapter was really cute and I look forward to future ones!

Also, a reminder her that, while the author's previous manga had high schooler characters so idiotically convinced their love was unrequited until basically the last chapter or two, the one before that had a college couple that got together within the first few chapters

I feel like you misunderstood what I said. To clarify - the more I've read, the more I agreed with the anti-Centurii side, but the convo overall has gone well beyond the time limit I expected it'd go, at which point, I decided "you know what, I've read enough of this"
