I don't think we should be as scared? That is unless Dynasty has a secret way to knownfor sure how this manga is gonna end, we still dont know if it's gonna "subtext" for good or not. What I like about them is that their relationship progresses at a steady pace, ofc we dont know for sure but only time travelers can tell you if the subtext tag is accurate or not

It happens, sometimes when the love is too strong your brain can't function normally... In Futari Monologue, their love (or the homosexuality) is so strong that never mind acting normally, they even lose their human traits.

That happened to me once with a gf I had, the only reason why I knew what the heck was going on with me is because I had read enough manga to understand it, but yeah, I can testify your brain ceasing to think straight and finding the person literally shine a lot.
And I am fairly intellgent as Koyuki... but she doesnt know what is going on because she doesnt read yuri :p

I just read the "snowflakes" manga, which is labeled as yuri and has significantly less yuri than this one, the only " difference" I could find was that one of them acknowledged being in love.
So... I am guessing that is all that is needed for an official tag change

I agree with user who thinks this is actually sailing, but with Koyuki's personality I cant actually imagine how the author is gonna land the yuri.
About the subtext discussion, I mean, I see what the point of the tag is, but as a person who has been in love and who has gone through pretty much same things as Koyuki, it is kind of annoying that they are saying one's feelings are "subtext" still, this is manga, and what is obvious for the reader may not be so for the characters and at the end of the day there are mangakas who force the characters do their binding, instead of letting the character decide where the story is going ...and I guess this is just me rambling xD

I love how most of the comments here are outrage at the subtext tag xDDD hilarious.
On a site note, I was comparing this to a yuri that had less yuri than this one and the only differenfe was that one of the girls kept thinking how much she loved the other.
So yuri=explicit "I love you"?

I think this manga isn't over yet? The newest raw found is chap 10 and I havent seen anythinv beyond that point but they are supposed to be 3 volumes? According to baka updates its status is still on going, so I would say that there is still very much hope of actual yuri c:
