Okay Nanami Touko, whatever you say....
This kinda reads like an angst yagakimi au where Touko never got over her trauma (or met Yuu) and became twisted from pretending all the time.
It's weird--in another thread about a series involving a high-school performance (not theatre, but . .. .) someone was going on and on about ow the story was like YagaKimi, when it really, really wasn't.
Then this comes along with, as someone suggested above, Nanami Touko as done by Kodama Naoko.
I've just learned to ignore it. Every new generation of manga addicts liken new things to what was popular when they got into manga. In a similar fashion to the fellow you quoted, I could go on a rant about how Yuu and Touko are basically Yukino and Soichiro from his and her circumstances, or how My Hero Acadamia is basically Naruto with superheros instead of ninjas.
Anyone else feel old yet?
