For those wondering, Kanna is a Kamui. Kamui are deities from Ainu mythology(Ainu are the native people of Northern Japan, and are a different ethnic group from normal Japanese.) Kanna Kamui is a deity of thunder.

When I saw Kanna transform it reminded of one of the dragons from HoMM:WoG that was added with it, I don't remember the name though. Some kind of fairy dragon I think it was.

Blame the English language for having one word to represent a spectrum of meanings far larger than the electromagnetic. Plus, kinda unfair to say they never interacted. The fact they went out of their ways to see each other and say hello every morning carries a lot of meaning.

The hello that was shown here was the first time they've said hello to each other though. "That's the first time I've heard her voice." Also on the same way on her way home she saw her with her brother. I'm not disagreeing with you, only pointing out that one of your 'reasons' is not correct :]

Maybe the body governs the mind or something? xD It could be that she is young, since she likes to play pranks on people and that's why she got 'exiled'. Of course it could be because of something else, but we'll see then. I'm more interested in why Tooru pretends to be dead. Really hope there doesn't pop up some kind of 'I didn't want to be married so I went to fake my death.' stuff aka arranged marriage.

Brace yourselves for seriousness later, though. After reading Cool Kyoushinsa's works and seeing hints and foreshadows here and there in this manga, it might become a little depressing later. Just sayin'.

Really hope not, although with the unexplored stuff and the freaking badass take down of the thief, there is a relatively high chance of getting serious. Plus it seems the girl from the credits will appear earlier than the second volume. Though it could be that there aren't many chapters in a volume. We'll see.
