I didn't know we had a birthday tag...

We didn't up until a few days ago.

Two reasons:

1) The rhyme originated in America as far as I know, back in a time before air conditioning and television, and when sitting in a tree was much more common than it is now. Even in my own youth, I climbed a lot of trees. Much moreso by the time I was 10 than either of my kids have by the same age. So there was a time when two teenagers sitting in a tree together would not have been particularly remarkable.

2) "Tree" rhymes with "G".

The part that makes you a pedantic moron is where you're arguing over the title and acting like you know everything when you're proving you don't. The difference between shoujo ai and yuri is that yuri exists while shoujo ai actually doesn't. What you refer to as shoujo ai falls under the actual term for yuri. The actual term "shoujo ai" is actually used in Japan to refer to something like yuri involving lolis or something along those lines. Whereas yuri is used the same exact way I explained it. Yuri is romance between two girls. Sex or a lack thereof is 100% irrelevant to the term.

Needs more "actual"/"actually".

I have every confidence that it will be resolved to a happy ending for Mel and Lynn. After reading Lily Love and all of Pulse up to now, I can say that Ms. Satis is very good at crafting "soap opera melodrama". And that's meant as a compliment!

She needs to look into getting her stuff translated into Spanish, because Mexicans would absolutely love them. As director Guillermo del Toro said "I'm Mexican, so of course I love melodrama." The biggest soap opera viewing nation in the world, right there.
