@Norainhere Basically anything by ShadowBlazer on AO3, but hands down Sing For Absolution by her as well if you want a long-ish epic with some action, mystery, and drama. Probably my favorite LuciSev fic atm. It has a sequel that is currently still being updated and I'm waiting for to finish so I can binge the whole thing in a weekend or 2.

Aside from that I think I got some of the LuciSev stuff mixed up with the other Modern!Awakening fics that I'm reading. Which there are a TON of, btw. Like, it's just starting to dawn on me that Modern AU Fire Emblem is so common that it could basically be a sub genre by itself, even if you exclude all the Coffee Shop memes.

Also, those are mostly het, so if you want some f!Robin x Chrom fics I'll still be right here :P

edit: So after all that I just found Snowstorm by Cowboy Sneep Dip. Only a couple chapters and I would definitely recommend it if you want some Lucina being a single mom fluff.

Some of the best LuciSev fics take place in a modern AU

Claudine has amazing form, but don't let that amazing back breaker distract you from the fact that in 1998, The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table.

^^ I'm open to the possibility. I am team Makoto though, so my opinions are definitely going to be different than yours.

^ It's mostly because, as much as I hate the term and the connotations around it, the "heteronormativity" of the Persona franchise and JRPGs in general the option to date nearly all the female characters is always there, but it doesn't mean you have to take them. The only time it was "required" was for a 100% run of P3. I feel it's just a quirk of the gameplay having to work it's way into story and roleplaying.

Aside from that, there's always been some awkwardness when it comes to some specific social links. Like Naoto and having to deal with Kanji's obvious crush on her. And the whole she's your teacher and that's literally ILLEGAL thing with Kawakami.

Plus, when I say canon, it's really just an exaggeration. My yuri goggle prescription is pretty strong and when I say something is canon I just really really want it to be true. My personal headcanon on the whole Ann/Shiho thing is Ann is living in a glass closet. She's totally gay, but doesn't know it yet, so of course she's gonna go out with a few guys before she does realize it

'Cept Shiho is basically the crux of everything Ann does, she never fails to instantly turn the topic about Shiho and the last half of Ann's social link is also about Shiho.

I'd say they're canon, to me at least.

You've got it backwards. The first chapter is the old comic. Sort of a prototype to the series we actually ended up getting.

That is an amazing relief. I was worried the quality was actually taking a step backward.

Edit: Huh, this is significantly different compared to the original. Well worth the read then. Gotta say though, much prefer the original 1st chapter over this new one.

OG comic had a much more logical flow and introduced more, still relevant, information in almost half the amount of pages this new one does. I wonder if serialization means the old comic will be discontinued in favor of this one.

But on the other hand these two are from the same region and half the plot of Black/White 2 is retracing the footsteps of the first game's protagonist who has straight up gone missing (even if by the end it goes absolutely nowhere and is not even mentioned ever again).

Of all the crack ships in the world, these two probably spend the most time almost actually meeting.

I was implying that their cover of being "cousins" while actually being cousins is convenient, but I couldn't figure out a succinct way of doing it while still being witty.
