Old Metallica is really good. Basically all the stuff leading up to Enter Sandman. Wasn't a big fan after that, though

Old Metallica had about two or three decent songs per album. I liked their cover of the Thin Lizzy version of Whiskey in the Jar though, which is their most recent passable song.

Hating on Metallica is just too natural for me, a reflex trained by all the Thrash purists I've met who deny any other form of music.

Underachiever, one bubble on one page didn't actually ruin my enjoyment.

Not liking any metal makes you a heathen though.

Interesting sports stuff going on with my Uncle-to-be, he's the CEO of Palletforce*, who sponsor Burton, maybe next season their training kit too, so we plan on watching them next season and abusing this.

He also met Maurinho at a hotel they were staying at the other week. Apparently he's crazy. And tiny. Very tiny. He walked away from their meeting singing 'fun, fun, fun'.

Well, finished it now. Had the same problem Fragments of Love did for me. About half way through, I started wondering what the point of it was. Although the end left me far more satisfied, it still has a place in 'job for my word processor' because there was so much that I just want to refine according to my sensibilities.

I like on one hand that Meru let herself be at her more natural weight, for obvious reasons, but it's a manga, and the aesthetics of it have me fifty/fifty on it.

In the end, the most important thing I took away from this was Ayu x Emi OTP.

Your situation is sad, but when commenting on how much of a 'relationship' I thought that which is being depicted was, there are differences from yours. Most importantly, it was entirely contained in school. There's nothing to indicate abuse like you have unfortunately suffered, just a standard school romance. So when that results in angsty poetry, it comes off to me as something the protagonist was too invested in, when she didn't necessarily need to be.
