Nice to see this on the front page, it's been one of my favorites for quite some time.

To me that second-to-last page, with the message saying "sorry for stealing your big sister away from you" is doubly ironic--on one hand, that's the opposite of her problem, rather she feels like her big sister stole Kuga-san away, and on the other, Kuga-san (with her gentle, generous influence) if anything gave her back an older sister she hadn't had for a while.

Nice reflexion, Purple Library Guy. Kuga-san "giving back the older sister" went right over my head all this time...

Could have been better if there was a last page where she acceptes kuroneko and says something like: "Together we will be happy".

I agree with Nevri. A happy ending would accomplish nothing here. The theme wasn't exactly romance, but MC's need to belong to the group being bigger than the desire to be herself... Also, the ending was more of a provocation; answering the question would make a much more forgetable story imo. I do understand your appreciation of happy endings, tho.

I actually thought it was a good ending. In a long series, it'd probably suck bigtime, but it work'd well in the context of a two-shot.

Ratana Satis has that special kind of art style where a pile of trash could be made to look bishōjo.

It's probably also among the high-end of art in Yuri... As much as I like the genre, it's unfortunately lacking in really good artists...

Maybe it's better it ends here.

Yes. There's another chapter in the book, but it's another story, with other characters.

Out of the Blue! is three of the chapters and an extra (which apparently was counted as as chapter... Well, it is on the table of contents...). The other chapter is un unrelated story.

I'm really relieved and really disappointed right now. I'm relieved that "Shōjo Shikkaku" has nothing to do with Dazai's "No Longer Human" (and thus I won't be needing Prozac to read), and I'm disappointed that it has nothing to do with "No Longer Human" (and thus I'm deprived of that delicious suffering).
